My name is Amanda Bancroft, I'm a singing teacher, vocal coach and performer. At the moment I am providing singing lessons online for students at all levels and experience over the age of 14 years old, on a one-to-one basis. I've had many years experience as a performer in theatre, TV, radio, cabaret and have undertaken most genres of music including classical, musical theatre, pop, rock and jazz. My singing has taken me all over the world and my work has included a national tour with Andy Williams and regular session singing on Radio 2.

Emma Scott born in Cornwall Emma enjoing a woodland eventThe beautiful surroundings that I was lucky enough to grow up in remain a constant source of creative inspiration for me, whether that’s the solitude and tranquillity of the woods or the open and beautiful seascapes. After achieving an art degree in fine arts and textiles finishing with a BA in fine art my creative processes initially had a textile based influence but rural and traditional crafts have always been a source of interest to me and I predominantly work in willow these days. I got involved with the restoration project of Mellingey Mill Willow Craft Centre in 2012 this is now where I am based and have an open studio/shop and where I run workshops. Although a lot of the work I do is still based out in the field you can find me in the shop a couple of days a week making and selling my work. Much of the willow I use for my work is grown here at Mellingey and after 5 years of management replanting my hard work is beginning to pay off and last year saw the first crop to be viable and large on a small scale to use in making most of my own products and in workshops. I find willow a great resource to work with and grow enough varieties to cover its wide ranging uses, from really fine basket willow to larger varieties that are perfect to harvest for hedges and fedges.

I am self-taught ceramic sculptor. My passion for painting and sculpture began as a young child and is still my main obsession in life, a means of expression, my therapy, my greatest love. I add a quirky, sometimes humourus twist to my female forms and my animal sculptures. I work from my imagination preferring to avoid realism at all costs! My work is hand built useing coiling or slabbing techniques. After fireing my pieces are finished using crackle glaze, underglaze or stains which are wiped back to emphasise textures. I use grogged earthenware and stoneware handbuilding clay. I sometimes paint fantasy designs with acrylics and also teach in my home studio in Worcester. I am living my dream. My work has been exhibited in UK galleries including Guildford House, Birmingham, Bowes Museum, Gloucester, Wolverhampton, Worcester and many more. I also exhibit my sculptures at the annual Showborough House sculpture exhibition, Twyning, Tewkesbury. I have worked with different media over the years in the wedding industry making wacky bride and groom wedding sculptures. I was commissioned by the BBC to surprising chef Ainsley Harriott, with a caricature of himself on the TV show Ready, Steady, Cook. I have also discussed my huge, wacky sculptures on TV whilst exhibiting them in Bowes Museum, County Durham. A big thrill for me was being commissioned to create small sculptures to be photographed for the front cover of Vogue Italia. Another TV commission was lool a like clay figures for celebrities Matt and Emma Willis. I sculpted a large chocolate wedding centrepiece for actor/singer Gareth Gates.

She founded and operated an upscale interior design and home furnishings consignment store before retiring to NC. Vice-President: Nancy Miller - Nancy, a new resident of SC, recently retired from her professional fundraising career in Baltimore, MD. having worked for Easter Seals, The National Defense University Foundation, and most recently, the American Cancer Society. Treasurer: Janet Payeski - Janet is enjoying the vast opportunities the Grand Strand area offers artists. Formerly a part-time resident, she moved here full-time recently and hopes that her 30-year background in Finance, including Cash Management and Financial Analysis, brings helpful skills to the Treasurer position. Secretary: Lynn Buck - Lynn is a pastel artist and former resident of CT. She became interested in pastels 20 years ago and trained under a local artist. She works mostly in pastel, but also in watercolor and acrylics. She lives in Carolina Shores with her husband, dog and cat. About the Academy Our academy was established in Great Britain in 2012, its founder is a professional photographer, documentary filmmaker and graphic designer Mariusz Śmiejek, who published his photos in magazines around the world, winner of many awards, including the National Geographic magazine award for the best photojournalism. With a great passion for sharing knowledge, and a lot of experience in conducting workshops outdoors and in the studio, we offer intensive weekend photography workshops and courses for beginners, intermediate users of digital cameras. We also run several-day workshops for advanced photographers who are thinking about the next steps towards professional photography and for enthusiasts who want to learn how professionals work, listen to their tips and learn their secrets. We provide a wonderful, cordial atmosphere in an intimate group of positively "freaky" photography enthusiasts, which usually results in long acquaintances. Our workshops are prepared in such a way that in small groups and in a nice atmosphere, each participant has the best opportunity to learn the secrets of photography. The program is prepared in such a way that you can learn to use various photography and post-production techniques on your own photos under the guidance of award-winning and appreciated professionals with experience in Poland and abroad. It was the possibility of creating Art for everyday that inspired me in the beginning. Art in its broadest sense, is the expressions of human imagination and skill and I believe it can make a big difference to everyday life. It can inspire us, give us an outlet from our daily routines and boost our happiness levels. And yet we tend to think of it as something to be saved for special occasions, or enjoyed from a distance, behind glass. My own wedding china for example, spent most of its life in a cupboard gathering dust – and I think that is really where it all began. I wanted to create everyday things that were both beautiful and robust enough to be part of everyday life at home. I was almost fifty by then, and increasingly aware that time was running out. The delightful small factory we found in Stoke quickly ran out of capacity and even with a second factory, we quickly ran out of capacity. By happenstance, we were introduced to a ceramic factory in Sri Lanka, where traditional studio skills have been preserved. Even then, we spent a full year working on techniques before we were able to start production in earnest. That year, I made eight two-week trips and seemed to be rarely out of an airport. During one such trip, I stopped off for a few days in Southern India to visit a textile factory, with an idea of developing some table linens. And in this way, our product range began to grow…
