European Studies and Language Services (ESLS) started its operations in 1994 by two graduates educated in Greece, France and UK. Our mission is to become the world leaders in advising students to pursue their quality studies abroad at a very cost effective manner. This is because parents and students waste enormous amounts of money in trying to find the best way to achieve their academic objectives. ESLS assists parents and students to identify the best way to receive a high standard and quality education. Our vision is to continuously support our customers to attain their long term academic and career objectives. Our services constantly expand to provide more benefits to our customers. We try to be present in all aspects of major decisions and thus avoid mistakes often made during the decision making process. To achieve that we try to organise individual interviews with our customers in order to identify their academic and career needs or even to challenge their choices and guide them to the right direction. We also help them to choose the country and university that fit their qualifications paving the way to a successful outcome. In addition, we provide services that help our customers to decide on their accommodation and travelling arrangements. Finally, we maintain a long term relationship supporting them to face all challenges throughout their academic and professional career. ESLS is now operating in many countries represented by local associates. Our network of associates is composed by people who have adopted ESLS culture.

Cherwell College Oxford

cherwell college oxford

Oxford

CHERWELL COLLEGE OXFORD is located in the heart of Oxford. The College is a leading independent, co-educational, boarding and day school for students aged between 12 and 18 years of age. Cherwell is one of the few colleges focused on bespoke education. Cherwell is one of the few remaining pre-university colleges in Oxford which continue to preserve the very best the British education system has to offer – the tutorial. In an age of continuing uncertainty, young people must be encouraged to ‘think on their feet’ and adapt quickly to the ever-changing political, economic and social situations in the world, which have a direct impact on their lives and academic and career aspirations. Cherwell’s adaptability and bespoke approach to education, delivered via a quintessentially Oxbridge tutorial method of teaching (one-to-one tuition & small group seminars), assists the College in nurturing and developing the individual student’s potential to the full. The format of tuition is discussed at an interview stage and determined by the subject syllabus and the specific needs of the student. This combination of small group and individual tuition ensures comprehensive syllabus coverage, enhanced by student feedback and classroom discussion, while enabling each student to fully understand each topic, and to apply this understanding effectively under examination conditions. Regular progress tests and mock examinations feature in the timetable, particularly important to those students where examination results do not always reflect their true academic potential. Monthly reports, written by each subject tutor, allow parents to closely monitor academic and pastoral progress.

Hearmyvoice

Hull,

The Venn HearmyVoice programme is a coaching and mentoring service designed to promote the development and empowerment of individuals and groups which will lead to big changes being made in the empowerment of primary school to university- level students. It will encourage participants to own their learning. It can also be tailored to suit people in the workplace, and help managers develop their leadership skills. The HearmyVoice student programme is aimed at students from 9 to 25 years old, and starts with a 32-question diagnostic survey, which is an online questionnaire, with eight possible categories, based around the outcomes. From here, the six-week intensive coaching begins, which is tailored around the results to the survey to suit the individual. Once a profile has been established, an adult coach will be assigned for the duration of the course. The HearmyVoice adult programme is designed with the adult in mind. It is aimed at workers with a view to empowerment and self-regulation in the workplace. HearmyVoice has been designed to improve individuals’ aspirations whilst also supporting self-regulation and empowerment in young people and adults. It is primarily aimed for use within the education sector, but can be tailored for use within the workplace. The programme supports organisations to improve performance processes, with the focus on finding solutions rather than reacting to problems. The six-week intensive training can be completed online or face-to-face and can be one-to-one or in larger groups or teams.

Please help us to break the cycle of poverty that entraps children and prevents them from becoming productive members of society. Children don’t choose to be born into poverty. Most grow up never realizing their human potential. Instead, they face physical and psychological trauma—hunger, malnutrition, disease, low self-esteem and lack of opportunity. Christel House is much more than a school. We give children a hand-up, not a handout, by providing a rigorous academic education supported by programmes to develop the whole child. We don’t just educate, or feed, or provide health care—we do all of these things from early childhood through early adulthood. And we continue to mentor our students for 5+ years after they graduate from Christel House. The results? Christel House works! Since 2001 in India and South Africa we have impacted the lives of over 2,300 children, their families and communities. In India, fewer than 10% of all children ever get to college. In South Africa, 52% of young people cannot find work. Approximately 86% of graduates from our schools in these countries are now working, in apprenticeships, or continuing their studies full or part-time at college or university. Their futures are secure, their ambitions realised. ForMission equips Christian Leaders to transform their communities through accredited training, thought leadership and missional support. Our academic programmes are an important part of what we do however they only tell part of the story of who we are. Our History Springdale College started life in 1980 as a mission college in Selly Oak, Birmingham, where prominent missionary Lesslie Newbigin taught in his last years of active ministry. In March 2015, with a growing missional vision, Springdale College was renamed ForMission College. ForMission offers degree courses, which have been accredited by Newman University since 2018, for students from a wide range of denominations and networks. Vision and Values ForMission’s vision is to encourage and equip Christians to transform the world through missional presence and action. The college seeks to be a learning community of reflective practice, community engagement, leading-edge missional theology, and participation in God’s mission. Our core values are being relational and missional; committed to diversity, excellence, and service. Ongoing Training ForMission College also offers a range of practical courses that can often be delivered in the local church. Many of our students start out on these courses before moving on to the BA or MA programme. We are proud that for many of our students, ForMission College is their first opportunity to study at this level.
