This one day training will give learners an overview of how to deliver Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). CST is a brief evidence-based group treatment for people with dementia. This interactive course will include a background about CST and how it can be used, research overview and detailed presentation of the treatment, including video footage and role-play.

The professional working world has changed more rapidly than could have been envisaged at the time of the introduction of GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. The two-day Adult MHFAider® courses are tailored around supporting adults, and can be attended by anyone from age 16 upwards. A lot of the education settings we work with have now trained a number of Adult MHFAider®’s to support their colleagues as part of their whole-school/college approach to mental health and wellbeing.

Virtual Safeguarding Training (Module 4 of Youth Leader Training as a standalone) 6.45pm – 9.30pm This course is recognised by the Church of Scotland as an alternative to their Introductory course (as long as no other regulated work is undertaken within your local Church) Training will be held via Zoom. Link will be sent to those who sign up the week before the training. Open to any BBUK registered leader. Participants should complete the Safeguarding and Managing Risk e-learning modules prior to registering for the training.
