<p>Tigers are symbols of strength, courage and perseverance and you certainly need some of that character when it comes to small scale crochet!</p>
<p>Tallulah is crocheted continuously in the round, and almost in 1 piece. You'll only need some basic crochet stitch know-how (US terms) and I'll show you some sew as you go techniques so any dodgy stitching and finishing gets hidden secretly inside. There are a couple of fiddly elements to this make, but nothing a determined tiger can't handle! She can be made into a fridge magnet, a brooch or a key ring if you like too!</p>
<p>This workshop takes place online so you will need to have access to ZOOM and the materials listed below to crochet-along. Some crochet skills are essential but it's also great for adventurous beginners interested in this style of crochet and anyone else who wants to join in.</p>

What is the course about?
You're a maker in your favoured medium - ceramics, wood, metal, glass or whatever - and you want to make electric lamps.
This course will tell you everything you need to know beyond using your existing skills in making the lamp base: design considerations; bulbs, bulb holders and lampshades; wiring; testing; and all the standards and regulations that you need to conform to (covering UK and EU requirements).
Note that although I am a potter, the course is not centered round the use of ceramics (or any other material) in making your lamp base. 
The course is run over three weekly sessions, 19:00 – 20:30. These are recorded and put onto the course web page so you can view them at other times.
