Dr Jonathan Hutchins and Dr Deborah Kingston will be presenting on the 28th November 2025 a 3 hour workshop on EMDR Intensives (I-EMDR). 3 CPD credits have been applied for from the EMDR UK Association for this workshop. Intensive EMDR: A workshop for EMDR Therapists on how we an implement this in our private practices and in NHS/Charity settings Learning Aims: 1. To recap the standard protocol 2. To highlight the benefits of the intensive EMDR model I-EMDR 3. To give EMDR therapists the confidence to do this in their practice 4. To help EMDR therapists in services, such as the NHS, to consider how they can implement it. Learning Outcomes: 1. To improve practitioners knowledge and awareness of the I-EMDR model. 2. To go over the evidence base for I-EMDR including Group EMDR intensive work. 3. Drawing on the evidence base to consider how we implement I-EMDR within both private and NHS practice. 4. Prerequisite: PECS Level 1 Training This two-day training focuses on creating lessons and activities to promote communication throughout the day. Beginning with a review of the Pyramid Approach to Education as it relates to PECS, we guide you in refining your PECS implementation and discuss current challenges you have experienced within the six phases. As you acquire teaching strategies on expanding vocabulary and syntax combined with new ideas for materials, we will discuss how to increase communication opportunities for your learner. Throughout the training, you will be provided with presenter demonstrations, video examples and opportunities to role-play. With innovative ideas, increased confidence and renewed enthusiasm, you will leave the PECS Level 2 Training ready to move PECS users to more sophisticated levels of communication. BOHS P903 - Management and control of evaporative cooling and other high risk industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in Evaporative Cooling and other high risk Industrial type systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901 - Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services. Where both P901 and P903 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this prerequisite is waived.

BOHS P904 - Management and control in leisure, display, therapy and other non-industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in leisure, display, therapy and other non-industrial water systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901- Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services [Syllabus GM.1]. Where both P901 and P904 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this pre-requirement is waived.
