The Club was founded by Shihan Peter Thomas, opening it's doors to the community of Cilfynydd on the 20'th May 1999. Practice at the club is friendly, informal but intense with an emphasis on sound basic techniques utilising Mindfulness and relaxation, developing Flow, style and power in higher grades. The club promotes a friendly co-operative atmosphere in which senior grades are always willing to take time to work with lower grades, helping to establish solid foundations. Free-style practice, based on Flow and reaction, is used to sharpen practical skills.
