BERA is a membership association and learned society committed to advancing research quality, building research capacity and fostering research engagement. We aim to inform the development of policy and practice by promoting the best quality evidence produced by educational research.  Our vision is for educational research to have a profound and positive influence on society. We support this by promoting and sustaining the work of educational researchers. Our membership, which is more than 2,500 strong, includes educational researchers, practitioners and doctoral students from the UK and around the globe.  Founded in 1974, BERA has since expanded into an internationally renowned association. We strive to be inclusive of the diversity of education research and scholarship, and welcome members from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, theoretical orientations, methodological approaches, sectoral interests and institutional affiliations. We encourage the development of productive relationships with other associations within and beyond the UK.  We run a major international conference each year alongside a diverse and engaging series of events, and publish high quality research in our peer-reviewed journals, reports, book series and the ground breaking BERA Blog. We recognise excellence through our awards and fellowships, provide grants for research, support the career development of our members, and nurture an active peer community organised around networks, forums and special interest groups.  BERA is a registered charity (no. 1150237) and is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales (company no. 08284220). Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC™) is an innovative and powerful coaching model based on Relationship Systems Intelligence (RSI™). A ‘relationship system’ is any interdependent group of people, sharing a common identity or function. We are all part of many different systems. In our organisations, our teams, our families, our intimate relationships and the wider society. Everything is interconnected. If something changes in one area of a system, it will have effects in places that often we won’t expect. ORSC is a methodology that combines ‘systems thinking’ with coaching. By becoming an ORSC practitioner, you will become aware of your own impact on the bigger picture and be able to consciously design your relationships. You will learn an invaluable set of tools to coach others to do the same. The Five Modules of ORSC All ORSC journeys begin with either the Fundamentals or ORS@Work module. Both introductory courses are based on the same set of skills and principles. Fundamentals is geared more toward personal coaching, therapy, or social work applications. ORS@Work is designed specifically with HR, OD, LD, business coaching or consulting in mind. Fundamentals or ORS@Work— teaches five key ORSC tools, including how to coach the Third Entity. Intelligence— provides a robust toolkit for increasing emotional resilience in the face of change. Geography — explores how to recognise and nurture the structures of relationships. Path — explores how to create a shared vision and a strategic plan for achieving it. Systems Integration— brings all the pieces together and provides a learning space to hone skills to work towards mastery. The subsequent four courses in the series must be studied in sequential order, as content layers and builds with each module. On completion of the five modules, students may choose to pursue ORSC certification. Whatever work we do, we are always in relationship. Through ORSC training we learn the concepts, skills and tools to be more effective with others. A ‘relationship system’ is any interdependent group of people, sharing a common identity or function. Psychologists might refer to a ‘collective consciousness’. Business consultants might talk about a ‘corporate culture’. Therapists would likely address ‘family dynamics’. All are ways of referring to what we call the Third Entity.

0 Comments I founded The Local Teachers Ltd in 2015, with the vision to make education more accessible and convenient locally. At the Local Teachers, we helped over 25,000 students in the last 8 years to boost their grades and help them go to their desired universities, we have fostered partnerships with 13 schools in London and 3 councils to help them support pupils with our intervention tuition programs in sciences, Mathematics and English. With that same vision and passion, I have founded Ezy Edtech Ltd to purchase assets as part of the liquidation of EzyEducation Ltd via a CVL to make quality education more accessible in different ways. That purchase transfers the rights of the EzyEducation website, courses, and high-quality book stocks of 10,000 with a commercial value of £5-10 per book to Ezy Edtech Ltd. The goodwill and support of ex EzyEducation employees has also been secured. Moreover, we have renewed all suppliers’ contracts such as the Zapper app, which makes more accessible our revision pocket booklets by pulling the interactive videos lessons, and quizzes from our platform to iOS and Android devices which increasingly more and more students are relying on for their revision routines. The EzyEducation platform and customer relationships benefited from £2.5m of investment and reinvested earnings. This means that Ezy Edtech bypasses the development costs usually associated with start-ups. The platform is currently used by over 150 school users (subscriptions of £200,000 in 2019 and £130,000 during 2021 (revenue decreased due to COVID19 exam cancellations). Although EzyEducation Ltd ceased trading on 14/12/2021 the platform has remained in use through this period with zero disruption for customers. Over this period, we had 188,543 sessions, 90,103 users, and 3.25 million hits. This continuation of user engagement is a clear indication of the success we can build on moving forward. With that strong foundation for success, here are our short-term objectives. At the present our most important objective is to secure renewals for the schools Minimise the service disruptions - renew contracts for all our suppliers and staff where possible. Improve our resources wherever necessary - such as creating more resources to make teachers’ life easier - in doing so, we will be complementing with PowerPoints lectures with the video lessons on the platform – so that teachers do not spend so much time and resources in creating lesson plans but rather focus on delivering and
