This full day workshop is designed to follow on and build on the learning from the 1-hour webinar to provide an embedded learning experience leading to acceptance and change of culture around neurodiversity. We understand the pressure managers can experience working within a neurodiverse team, this training is designed with managers in mind.

The workshop will be held at our studio in the beautiful Shropshire Hills. When you leave the workshop, you'll have beautiful macramé products that you'll be proud of—and more importantly, you'll be able to turn your new skills into a new hobby at home.
Course Summary: This workshop aims to increase awareness of Safeguarding and Protecting Children, helping coaches to recognise signs of abuse and poor practice, and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of coaching practice to ensure that sport provides a positive and enriching experience for children. The 3 hour workshop covers the following and learners will be able to: Identify and recognise good coaching practice and the implications for them. Explore their values and feelings in relation to child abuse, and recognise how these may potentially impact on their response. Recognise and respond to the signs and symptoms of child abuse and poor practice. Take appropriate action if concerns about a child arise. If you require a group booking for your staff/volunteers, please select group booking to request a private group session. This option will require a minimum of 8 delegates. If we do not have 8 delegates the course will be rearranged for a later date.
This interactive programme will use the topic of equity, diversity, and inclusion to illustrate the problem of unconscious bias and the practical solutions to overcome it. This comprehensive two-day sleep workshop provides healthcare professionals with an understanding of a wide range of common childhood sleep difficulties and sleep disorders . We explore up-to-date evidence and science based strategies to enable participants to support families struggling with their with pre-school children and for children with SEND. Throughout the two days we use real-life case studies enabling delegates to assess and plan gentle and responsive interventions for a range of child sleep problems and sleep disorders. We have developed the workshop content and delivery to be highly engaging, interactive and relevant to all community staff working with families with young children experiencing sleep problems. Child focused and firmly grounded in research and evidence-based practice our training follows the Baby Friendly Initiative. This two-day workshop is accredited for 12 CPD Hours by The CPD Certification Service; “This is a good course delivering clear learning value. To provide an overview of evidence based interventions used to help behavioural sleep difficulties in infants and children.
