Students will enhance their ability to critically evaluate literature, comparing themes and characters across a wide range of texts. They'll advance their creative and non-fiction writing, taking it to the next level by focusing on sophisticated language use and technical accuracy. through engaging discussions around fascinating topics, such as moral issues and social contexts, students will develop their oral communication. The overall aim of thios course is to deepen their love of language in an enjoyable environment. 6 children maximum fully interactive weekly 55 minute lessons qualified, expert teacher optional homework set weekly additional resources set via online classroom lesson recordings for absent students written progress reports three times per year Classes are £90 per month. Historical Association webinar series: Making history accessible Presenters: Cat Priggs This webinar will provide an overview of recent key developments in SEND, including statutory guidance and regulations from Ofsted’s latest Education Inspection Framework and the SEND improvement plan. Drawing on SEND toolkits, we will reflect on how to embed inclusive practice. This will be explored in the context of the history classroom as we draw upon the Historical Association’s Secondary Committee ‘Making History Accessible’ resources to consider how to develop and support SEND students’ historical learning. At the end of this session, participants will be introduced to an optional small-scale action research project. We will then cater for your needs and answer them during the session. This is designed to be an introduction into how to start a room by room survey using the Heat Engineer app, then sending this survey to the online dashboard. We will then go through the different steps to complete this heat loss report. Optional pages will also be worked through and shown. Examples of how to select the flow temperature and the heat source (heat pumps and boilers) will be presented once the heat loss result is completed.
