Burnt Fen Alpacas is a family run farm, tourist attraction and teaching centre in North Norfolk. We have a beautiful friendly herd of around 40 alpacas who have been part of our family for over 20 years. We offer a variety of alpaca experiences and learning opportunities in a friendly peaceful space. Join us for our very popular alpaca trekking activity - Walking with Alpacas. Alpaca Yoga and Alpaca Cream Teas. As a textile artist I run regular textile courses working with alpaca fibre. I teach hand spinning, weaving and natural dyeing in my studio next to our alpacas. The Liverpool Weaving Company was founded by Kirsty Jean Leadbetter in 2018, to facilitate her passion for woven textiles in the city she was raised in and loves. This design studio is Liverpool's very first and only micro mill, offering bespoke artisan cloth and tweeds in short runs and beautiful homewares. Kirsty works with a plethora of clients, from local alpaca farmers to haute couture brands. Kirsty Jean has a decades worth of woven experience, such co-managing a weave studio in the Shetland Islands, a place she still draws much inspiration from.

Simon is originally from Buckinghamshire, England. I am from Connecticut and moved to England in 2001 with my daughter. We are very lucky to have five grandchildren, who live in England. Simon and I had a life changing opportunity to relocate to Ireland, so we didn’t hesitate. We wasted no time and packed up our home and our alpaca herd and moved to County Kerry in the Southern part of the country. Moving here was certainly not without a few bumps along the way, but we are very settled and incredibly happy. We challenge anyone to visit Ireland and not fall in love with the people and the amazing rugged landscape. Ireland is a truly special place.

Bird Farm Alpacas - Mission Statement Bird Farm is a place of sanctuary for all who visit and spend time here. We have a cosy craft studio in the beautifully converted barn, with plenty of tea and cake to share! We know from our own experiences the value of spending time outside in nature, with animals, growing food or crafting with willow or fibre. We host a monthly community craft group on the first Wednesday of the month and 'Basket cases' monthly willow weaving group on the last Monday of the month. Please email or message to know more. We are also able to access and offer complimentary therapies such as Reflexology, Reiki, NLP and Bowen.

My mother taught me how to hand-sew at the age of 5 and I immediately started making gift items for my family and friends. My passion for colour, form and creativity continued at the ripe old age of seven when I was also taught how to knit, crochet and to use a basic sewing machine. I was hooked from that point on and have continued to mix a range of crafting skills and techniques in my work.
