Based in Wooler, Northumberland, STARS Learning Centre Ltd is a bespoke
educational teaching service which caters for children, adults, schools and
groups.DIFFERENT APPROACH STARS Learning Centre Ltd was created to address the
gap in education for children in Northumberland who struggle with a traditional
school curriculum. The confines and narrowing of the current educational system
means that some children are not progressing and feel isolated and excluded.
This means that gifted and talented, special needs children, children who are
struggling with maths and or english need a different approach and that is where
we at STARS Learning Centre come in. We offer 1-1 in and out of school times.
Each student works on a bespoke learning plan at their level and at their pace.
We include in our classes in cooking, healthy lifestyle and gardening. OUR
INTENTION Our intention is to offer children and young people the chance to
learn, grow and realise their full potential educationally and in the wider
world. STARS Learning achieves this through 1:1 tuition, collaborative learning,
small group work in schools covering bespoke projects including, gardening,
cooking and other practical experiences. These offer the space for young people
to thrive because they promote collaborative learning and foster effective
communication skills.
