Evancliffe Leathercraft Wire Wrapped Rings Workshop

Hello all you interested crocheters out there! Hungry for a new crochet stitch to take your crochet to the next level? Come and join us here at Stitch! and learn mosaic crochet with the wonderful Kay Dudman. This is a technique that gives you the opportunity to use two different colours without changing wool. You can create beautiful geometric designs with whatever colour combinations you like. During this workshop you will be covering inset and overlay mosaic techniques. You will be working on a panel learning the these basic techniques that you can continue at home to make a blanket or you can incorporate it into other projects. (Please note that this is not a beginners crochet class you are required to know the basic stitches for crochet.) Avid beginners looking for new crochet variations- come and enjoy! Jewellery from reclaimed copper: You will use traditional metalworking tools and techniques to turn copper reclaimed from electrical cable and heating pipes into a bracelet and pendant or a pair of earrings.  This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and the price includes all the materials you will need to complete two pieces of jewellery to take home with you at the end of the workshop.

An introduction to Lino Printmaking is a half-day course designed to give a basic outline of the medium to newcomers. The course will give students an outline of the materials used and how the process works, from creating an image, through transferring it onto Lino and then producing the prints themselves.

Catheters are used to help when someone has difficulty urinating, this course aims to provide the learner with the knowledge on what may cause these difficulties, what their role will entail, infection control, equiptment, risks and complications associated with a catheter.
