The aim is to familiarise the candidate with the processes and maintenance of vehicles from a professional and business view for a new detailing career, teaching the foundations of correct vehicle cleaning up to the final familiarisation of entry-level dual-action machine polishers. Business practices and health and safety are explored covering areas such as pricing, marketing, target clientele, SDS and environmental conformity. During this 1 day intermediate level course you will learn how to utilise the powerful image editing capabilities of Adobe Photoshop. Building on the topics covered in our Introduction to Photoshop, you will learn how to work with multiple layers, use layer masks, learn how to use smart objects, add sophisticated filters. Re-touching and repairing, montages and image correction techniques are also covered.

Enhance your SkillsBuilding on Level One and the skillset developed, you will be advancing onto more advanced machine polishing and cleaning techniques, to progress your detailing career and skillset further. Existing valeters and detailers confident in their skillset's reflection of Level One's content may also qualify to bypass to this level, should they be able to demonstrate their qualification by purchasing, taking, and passing with sufficient breadth, our online Level One assessment. Machines introduced at this level include forced rotation dual action polishers, every inception of Dual action polishers, both in throw and size. Join Helen of Evendawn Arts for this lovely seasonal Workshop. With a full drawing provided on speciality acrylic paper , there’s no need to worry about drawing your own toadstool. This frees you to simply paint this glowing autumnal scene. There will be some warm up practices first - trying different brushes and tools - and this will also be the time for mixing the paint colours for your project. You’ll have step by step guidance all the way through this painting, so you can relax and and have fun creating this beautiful seasonal picture. All levels of experience welcome including complete beginners. ( age 14 upwards) please don’t forget to bring something to carry home your finished project. A lidded tray or box would do. About this event This class is going to look at portrait painting using photographs to explore how to achieve volume, we are currently working in Grisaille (many greys) and will go on to look at glazing and flesh tones in the upcoming months. This class has no model and intends to give some experience before moving on to the model. Please bring a canvas or board. It is also good to have your own paint brushes if possible.
