Francesca Wyllie (BA Hons Fine Art) has an amazing north-facing art studio at El Retiro in Andalucia, which was purpose-built to accommodate painting groups. Bespoke painting and sculpture workshops can be arranged or Francesca can travel locally to guide you in your own studios or locations.

We are all Cosmic Sparks, children of the Cosmos. The whole Universe is infinite, conscious Energy and this is our source, our home. How do you imagine your cosmic home? How could you paint it? As a portal? A shining perfect star? Maybe you would express the vision of the infinite Universe as a symbol? During painting, I will guide you if you would like to, and will give you professional advice on how to paint and draw. The artwork will be yours to keep and your memory from the workshop.

The perfect Mother's Day gift! On the very cusp of British Summertime starting we’ll be spending an appropriately colourful afternoon steeped in drawing/painting Spring Flowers. The studio will be full of plants such as mini iris, grape hyacinths, tulips, primroses and daffodils. There will be cut flowers in still-life arrangements and a wealth of beautiful photo references to work from too. We’ll take inspiration from Scottish Colourist Samuel John Peploe’s tulip paintings amid an immersive, fun afternoon of Spring botanicals. All levels of artistic abilities are embraced in this workshop so it’s a great opportunity to try out a class with plant-lady tutor Suzanne Gibson. All materials and refreshments will be provided - including cake and a complimentary glass of fizz. Minimum class numbers apply.

Paint Some Pottery With Your Friends! These adult-only painting sessions run every month 6.30-9. 30pm. Pay for your chosen seat/table inc studio fee, welcome drink, half a large pizza, salad and coleslaw, dessert, coffee & mints. Select an item of pottery to paint on the night (sold seperately) and enjoy your evening. Our studio team will be on hand to offer advice, tips and suggestions on techniques that may help you where you want it. These evenings are relaxed and friendly and the ideal opportunity to have some fun in a creative atmosphere! 😁 Please note once painted your pottery will be glazed & fired and ready for collection 7-10 days later. You are welcome to BYOB on the night (glasses and ice provided at no extra charge). If you have a big appetite & would like a full Pizza please add this on at checkout. Menu will be sent with Pizza & Dessert choices once booked. The Pizza's are from Monte Cristo, a local restaurant. About this event This class is going to look at portrait painting using photographs to explore how to achieve volume, we are currently working in Grisaille (many greys) and will go on to look at glazing and flesh tones in the upcoming months. This class has no model and intends to give some experience before moving on to the model. Please bring a canvas or board. It is also good to have your own paint brushes if possible. Some boards and canvas's are available to purchase if you are unable to get one in advance The works has boards, brushes and canvas for a few pounds.
