With it, it becomes creation.” - Bette Davis Our Acting Masterclass is led by award-winning actor and producer Henry Hereford, known for his roles in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, True Blood, Wham Bam Thank You Ma’am, and much more.  If you are interested in learning the craft of acting, how to break into the business and how to successfully audition for roles, this is the course for you.  Henry’s programme will give you a head start in learning the skills you need to carve out a successful career as an actor in future. You will have a supportive environment to ask any questions you have about auditioning for drama schools or casting calls, and explore many acting techniques with the help of an industry professional. With Henry’s help and the chance to perform in front of a live audience at the end of the course, you’ll have your acting career off to a great start! ‍ WHEN AND WHERE? The Acting Masterclass takes place in Cranleigh Arts Centre, around 20 minutes from Guildford. Many people are interested in keeping chickens, but there is a lot of conflicting information. I have been keeping poultry for many years, and can help and advise on housing, breeds, brooding, cockerels, and feeding. Come along to my course to learn how best to keep your garden chooks happy and healthy. Topics covered include: Fox-proof coops and runs Sourcing your hens Handling your hens The importance of free ranging, and avian flu alternatives Feeding and healthy treats Eggs and breeding Cockerels and chicks What to do with chicken manure Pests, diseases, and natural supplements Quick discussion about ducks, quail, and geese This course is run at a mutually agreed date and time, and costs £35 per person, or £60 for two booking at the same time. Gift vouchers are available if you’d like to give this course as a present. We will spend most of the time looking at the hens in my garden, and there will be a handout with all the information we discuss as well as plenty of opportunity to ask questions. We will have fresh tea, cafetière coffee, herbal tea, and homemade cake during the break. Courses run from 2-3.30pm at my cottage in Hellingly.

You will learn how to calculate your finger size, solder, form the metal, and texture and polish the silver to create your lovely stack of rings. You can decide on their design to create your own individual set. This is an excellent starting project for a beginner. For those with more experience, it is an opportunity to develop your skills further. In this morning session, you will create your very own set of 3 silver stacking rings. You will learn how to calculate your finger size, solder, form the metal, and texture and polish the silver to create your lovely stack of rings. You can decide on their design to create your own individual set. This is an excellent starting project for a beginner. For those with more experience, it is an opportunity to develop your skills further. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: None, all abilities are welcomed. Our small classes mean we are able to provide each student with the support they require. Students must be 16+ CLASS SIZE: 7 WHAT IS INCLUDED? All tools and consumables are supplied The cost of this course includes materials. YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH: Two 7.5 cm lengths 2mm silver sterling round wire One 7.5 cm length 2mm beaded silver sterling wire If you wish to purchase additional silver to create more rings (should time allow), we stock silver which you are able to purchase on the day.
