This course covers road-tow equipment - from legal checks, tyres, lighting through to brake checks, adjustment and repairs. Ideal for tool hire, plant hire. CPA Members HAE Members and IPAF Members for their Fitters, mechanics, technicians, Check and Test, Test and Run, PDI Techs, not forgetting Charities or other organisations who run maintain or sell trailer mounted items nd those that sell, deal in or refurbish equipment.

The main subject areas of the course are: Legislation and guidance for asbestos practitioners. The properties of asbestos and health effects of exposure to asbestos fibres. The types of asbestos and its uses in buildings. The types of asbestos surveys. The asbestos register, risk assessment and management plan. Asbestos remediation. The role of asbestos analysts and laboratory procedures.

This course covers basic electrics, PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) and RCD testing. Ideal for tool hire, plant hire. The Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) qualification has been designed in-line with the current Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements and is ideal for: • Those who have gained a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification and have entered into an early years setting and wish to be included in the staff to child ratios to comply with the EYFS requirements. • Anyone who cares for infants and children, such as parents, guardians, grandparents

Course Details Please note there is an additional charge for both OP & Sup units needing to be completed via re-assessment, please call the YCDI team if you are unsure - 01782 438813. If your streetworks card is about to or has already expired, you will need to take a NRSWA reassessment course. You are not able to work on a streetworks site with expired certificates. You can take reassessments at anytime before your certificates expire and the remaining time left before expiry is now added to your new card. For example, if you take your reassessment with 6 months still remaining, it will be added to your new card when you receive it, resulting in 5 years and 6 months on your card expiry. If you completed your NRSWA Operative or Supervisor course with us, we will advise you that you will need to complete the reassessment course within 3 months of the expiry date. Although this quiz is aimed at people taking the full 5-day course, the questions will still be helpful revision before taking your reassessments.

This course Operator Licence Awareness is suitable for LGV drivers and any person working in the Road Haulage industry involved with transport planning and operations. Persons who may attend include but are not limited to directors, transport planners, transport admins and assistants. For professional drivers, this will be recorded as 7 hours of their mandatory 35 hours of Driver CPC. This course will cover: Roles and Responsibilities, Operator Licensing, Drivers’ Hours, Working Time and Record Keeping, Effective Maintenance Systems, Safe Loading, Traffic Regulations, Driver Management, Enforcement and Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS).
