City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Working as Member of a Rescue Team - 6160-08 - The course includes preparing to carry out emergency activities, entering and exiting confined spaces safely, using emergency equipment, casualty recovery and handling devices in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, rescuing and recovering casualties, following procedures and working safely. City & Guilds Level 4 Award in Plan, Manage and Review Legislative and Safety Compliance for Work in Confined Spaces - 6160-06 - This course focuses on planning, organizing and managing work safely in confined spaces including legislative roles and responsibilities, health and safety considerations and equipment requirements. Designed for managers that are responsible for organizing and planning work activities within a confined space. The manager may or may not supervise the actual job. The manager cannot enter the confined space. City & Guilds Level 3 Award in Supervising Teams Undertaking Work in Confined Spaces - 6160-05 - This course is designed to provide delegates with enough understanding of Safe Systems of Work to be able to authorise works and issue permits. It identifies the employer’s responsibilities within their own policies to allocate duties to competent employees. To achieve this qualification the delegate must hold the level 2 qualification relevant to their own work environment including the use confined space equipment. Understanding emergency arrangements as set by legislation and employers, some of the equipment required to rescue a casualty and safety of the rescue team. We understand how much confusion there is around Driver CPC and we are here to help and assist with the process. If you are a lorry driver of either Category C1 or C and passed the driving test after 10th September 2009 you will need to complete Initial Driver CPC to be able to drive commercially (for hire or reward). There are two elements involved in Initial Driver CPC to be completed sequentially: Module 2 – Case Study Module 4 – Show & Tell Demonstration Module 2 is known as the “Case Study” and is a computer based test which you take at a Pearson Vue test centre. Module 4 is also known as the “Show & Tell Demonstration”. Lloyds School of Motoring conducts training for this and will book your test at the DVA test centre in Belfast.
