Welcome to Haydock Connect Welcome to Haydock Connect: The last couple of years have been the most difficult for many in a life time. As a charitable training organization we took the difficult decision to close and remain closed to protect the health of both staff and students. ...Where do we go from here? At the time of writing, the Omicron variant is starting to affect many countries including the UK. We are hopeful that the outcome will not be as devastating or as dangerous to our health as previous outbreaks. With this in mind we are planning to start offering introductory courses in the very near future. Taking into consideration the difficulties that our school leavers have experienced over these last couple of years we have decided to lower the age of opportunity to learn to 16years upwards. What do we offer? We are a City & Guilds authorised training centre but at this time we will be offering introductory courses to domestic electrical installations, renewal energy, web design and basic car maintenance. By the end of the course you will have a very good idea just what is involved and if it would be the kind of career you would enjoy. We are hoping to re-open in March 2022 and so keep checking our web site for more information regarding the exact date we will be starting and application forms or simply to give us a call. When we know a bit more we will add an application form and or a contact number for you to call.

The Venn HearmyVoice programme is a coaching and mentoring service designed to promote the development and empowerment of individuals and groups which will lead to big changes being made in the empowerment of primary school to university- level students. It will encourage participants to own their learning. It can also be tailored to suit people in the workplace, and help managers develop their leadership skills. The HearmyVoice student programme is aimed at students from 9 to 25 years old, and starts with a 32-question diagnostic survey, which is an online questionnaire, with eight possible categories, based around the outcomes. From here, the six-week intensive coaching begins, which is tailored around the results to the survey to suit the individual. Once a profile has been established, an adult coach will be assigned for the duration of the course. The HearmyVoice adult programme is designed with the adult in mind. It is aimed at workers with a view to empowerment and self-regulation in the workplace. HearmyVoice has been designed to improve individuals’ aspirations whilst also supporting self-regulation and empowerment in young people and adults. It is primarily aimed for use within the education sector, but can be tailored for use within the workplace. The programme supports organisations to improve performance processes, with the focus on finding solutions rather than reacting to problems. The six-week intensive training can be completed online or face-to-face and can be one-to-one or in larger groups or teams.

When working with students with profound or complex needs, progress can be accurately measured and recorded using the in conjunction with the Winstrada development programme. THE PHRASE 'REBOUND THERAPY' was coined by the founder, E.G. Anderson, in 1969 to describe the use of trampolines in providing therapeutic exercise and recreation for people with a wide range of special needs. Participants range from mild to severe physical disabilities and from mild to profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dual sensory impairment and autistic spectrum. REBOUND THERAPY IS used to facilitate movement, promote balance, promote an increase or decrease in muscle tone, promote relaxation, promote sensory integration, improve fitness and exercise tolerance, and to improve communication skills. Winchester Mummies and Daddies, you need ‘Jolly Josie’ in your life! I’ve been here in Winchester teaching the Music with Mummy programme since 2006 now; small, structured classes with simply gorgeous music, songs and activities. You’ll know many of the traditional favourites and you will grow to adore our original Da Capo creations. I recall one of my Mummies saying that we were quite literally THE soundtrack to her children’s early years and playtimes – when she looks back now, it is our music and song that was there as she raised her family in those first five years. And yes, of course, Daddies, Grandmas, Childminders, Great Auntie Joan(!) – it is not JUST Mummies that attend – your child can bring any special adult they’d like to! As an ex-primary teacher with an honours degree in child education and qualified teacher status, I have had years of teaching experience with school-age children, but it wasn’t until Music with Mummy entered my life (as a Mother taking my own young family to the class) that I began to realise the joy of working with the magical early years. From the tiniest new baby beginning to hit those very first developmental milestones up to my toddlers and pre-schoolers that are working with tempo or pitch and are finding their rhythm and VOICE – it’s just an utter joy and privilege to be part of your child’s early learning journey and to facilitate the musical experience, the fun, the laughter, the smiles, the special moments and the song.

Aerial PerformerHello, and welcome to my site! I am a multidisciplinary aerial acrobat and circus performer. My journey to becoming a professional aerial performer and teacher started after moving to the UK from Spain, where I grew up. It was not until I saw a breathtaking aerial show in 2004 that I knew I wanted to become an aerialist. Shortly after realising I wanted to pursue a career in circus, I joined a 2 year professional full time course in aerial acrobatics in Bristol, specialising in silks, corde lisse and aerial hoop. Straight out of circus school I landed my first ever performing job, a year contract with a traditional circus company in North India, that was both challenging and fascinating. I have never looked back. In 2012 I went back to India to work at Kingdom of Dreams, the first large scale live entertainment theatre in India. The Bollywood style musical shows at KOD feature a fully automated flying system covering an area of 30m x 20m and almost 20 meters above the heads of the audience. I worked there for several months as head of aerial with the dancers involved in the aerial scenes, mainly hanger type harness and silks. The shows at Kingdom of Dreams feature a lot of heavy props flown across the auditorium in conjunction with the performers. Another big circus production I have been part of is Circus Rocks by the Generating Company, a UK touring show around seaside holiday resorts where I performed rope and was part of the aerial and dance ensembles.
