The Holy Bible:- The core of the Christian religion is the Holy Bible, which is considered to be the infallible word of God.  It highlights the value of a close relationship with God, salvation via faith, and the concepts of divine grace.  1. According to 2 Timothy 3:16, the Bible claims to be inspired by God, which guides theology, correction, and moral behavior.  2. According to Ephesians 2:8–9, salvation is obtained by grace and trust in Jesus Christ, not by human actions.  3. The Bible's lessons are clear and consistent because it tells a story chronologically.  4. Places a strong emphasis on the eternal promise of salvation via Jesus Christ, love, and redemption. The Holy Koran:- The Holy KORAN is regarded as the central religious text of Islam, believed to be the word of Allah as revealed to Prophet Muhammad. It emphasizes the importance of good works, submission to Allah, and a structured moral and spiritual path. 1. The KORAN highlights the importance of good deeds and personal accountability, with salvation linked to one’s actions (Sura 2:25, 2:277). 2. Allah’s mercy and guidance are recurring themes, offering hope and forgiveness for those who repent and strive to live righteously (Sura 4:173). 3. The KORAN recounts narratives from earlier scriptures, interpreting them within an Islamic framework (Sura 7:43). 4. It provides instructions for worship, social justice, and interpersonal conduct as pathways to a fulfilling life and eternal reward.

In addition to Biofield Tuning I also hold qualifications in Reflexology, Spiritual Response Therapy, Radiesthesia, Naet (allergy elimination). I started my career as part of the corporate world with a 15-year career in Human Resources and a degree in business studies. However as with most of us life changing events such as the birth of my children, the death of my parents the many lessons life sent to me along the way meant that i started to change and open up to a more spiritual path to help me with the lessons life was sending me on my path. In a way I guess I was simply waking up to who I really was. As part of this new phase of my life 15 years ago I found the energy of reiki healing, or it found me at a time when i was at my most vulnerable. It helped me with my old war wounds and opened me up to a new way of being. I qualified as a reiki master and then went onto discover my love for crystals and qualified with iacht as a crystal healer after a two-year diploma course. I will never forget my first experience of working with a small aquamarine crystal which sent a wave of energy through my entire body and left with a screech through my ears so loud leaving me deaf for the day. I knew then I was destined to work with crystals and it served me right for the deaf ear, I needed something extreme as I had my skeptical head on at the time!

At ilmburst, we are very excited about launching this project. Excited, because we are passionate about nurturing our children from a young age, nurturing in them a love for their religion and nurturing their spiritual development. The idea for ilmburst began when we found that many of us as parents don’t have the confidence to teach our children their religion. This is due to a variety of reasons. Some of us feel we don’t have the knowledge and ability, others among us don’t have the time to research and prepare the material needed to teach our children and yet others are afraid that they may teach something incorrectly or use inauthentic material. We aim to help change that, in sha Allah. We should all be able to help teach our children in an engaging and fun way. What better way to bond with your children than doing something which is pleasing to Allah? Using the individual skills and talents of our team we have brought together people qualified in Islamic studies, education and teaching experience to create a wide variety of resources across a wide breadth of subjects, which are then designed using professional design software to ensure high quality. Our vision is to help nurture a generation of Muslims who are proud and confident of their Islam, and who then use this confidence to excel academically, into their chosen career paths and be role models within their communities. We ask Allah, the Most High, to grant us all success as parents and teachers, and that He blesses our children and makes them a source of happiness and joy for us in this world and the next.

Having been appointed as Head of Valley College and Ewood Campus in September 2021, I would like to share some information about the provision for Valley College learners. Valley College learners are supported by skilled and familiar staff and alongside their advocates, create a bespoke individualised pathway to ensure future aspirations are achieved. Learners are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities across and beyond the curriculum, contributing fully to the life of the college and their communities. Southgate Mosque was founded in 2021 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing prayer facilities to the local Muslim community. Southgate Mosque and Community Centre Ltd is a Registered Charity in England and Wales with charity number 1201327. We opened the doors to the Alan Pullinger Centre in Southgate for Jumuah prayers in November 2021. Within a few weeks, numbers had grown through word of mouth, and less than a year later, we were at full capacity. Our community Iftar event during Ramadan was over-subscribed, and over 400 people attended Eid-ul-Adha prayers in Groveland’s Park. There is a growing Muslim community in Southgate and surrounding areas (Oakwood and Cockfosters) made up of a varied demographic, ethnic and socio-economic population that makes an essential contribution to the fabric of the area. Our social, spiritual and educational needs continue to grow and hence the urgent need for a mosque in the area. We now have a unique opportunity to acquire a truly spectacular building set within its own extensive 3 acres of grounds in the heart of Southgate. The building itself is Grade II listed and is of special interest to English Heritage. If we were to succeed in establishing our centre here, we would be able ensure that in addition to meeting the current needs of local Muslims, we would be restoring a valuable asset within the local area, and would secure a legacy for generations to come. This project will not be easy and will take time, however it will only be possible with the support and contributions of the local community. We therefore appeal to you to donate generously and help us in whatever way you can to secure a unique legacy in Southgate for both Muslims and the wider community.
