You will be able to design and implement an appropriate research and evidence based individualised management strategy selecting from a range of therapies and new innovations. 2 Day Course - Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage, Modelling and Post Op Care - Nurture Touch Method Service Description What is the difference between Vodder and Brazilian MLD? The main difference between the two methods lies in their approach and purpose. Vodder MLD is a clinical treatment that focuses on the manual stimulation of the lymph nodes, combining slow, circular, and scoop-like motions to move the lymphatic fluid towards the larger lymphatic vessels for proper drainage and filtration. Vodder MLD is commonly used to treat conditions such as lymphedema. Brazilian MLD is primarily designed for cosmetic purposes and is performed to enhance the appearance of the skin and reduce water retention in the body. This technique emphasises vigorous hand movements and pressure on the skin, stimulating the lymphatic system to reduce the appearance of cellulite, sculpt the body, firm the skin, and promote post op healing and care. In conclusion, while both Vodder MLD and Brazilian MLD involve the stimulation of the lymphatic system, they are distinct techniques that serve different purposes. P402 Surveying and sampling strategies for asbestos in buildings is the industry standard qualification for asbestos surveyors. In addition to holding the qualification, asbestos surveyors are required to undertake and provide evidence of annual refresher training. Previously, BOHS provided two Refresher courses for this purpose: P402RM (Management) and P402RRD (Refurbishment and Demolition). This new course, RP402 Refresher - Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings, replaces P402RM and P402RRD. RP402 Refresher enables candidates to revise and update their knowledge on all types of asbestos surveys, and to receive a certificate of course completion by passing a written examination, which covers both the theory and practice of surveying for asbestos in buildings.

Photographs and diagrams ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform this very popular treatment.  Includes: 2 Hard copy take home training manuals. Duration – Fast track two-day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. Practical day – 10.30am-4.30pm. It is advisable that students arrive 15 mins early to ensure a prompt start. In a lot of cases the practical training can be finished earlier than expected depending on how many students there are, and the time taken on practical work.
