Upon completion of the qualification, you will be awarded the NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Trowel Occupations which allows the holder to obtain the Blue Skilled Worker CSCS Card. The qualification modules will be discussed and agreed upon with each individual candidate to ensure that the qualification will be suited to your job role. Each candidate will be allocated a qualified assessor to provide support throughout the qualification and provide information, advice and guidance to candidates in order that they can achieve the qualification. Barista Skills teaches the essential practical skills needed behind the espresso bar, such as how to set your grinder, make espresso, foam and texture milk for cappuccinos, and create latte art, as well as an exploration of health and safety issues, customer service protocols, and basic business practices. The Barista Skills Intermediate course builds on the concepts and skills introduced in the Foundation course. It is ideal for someone who has barista skills experience and wants to explore how to improve coffee quality and prepare for more complex job functions found in the barista profession. RYA Competent Crew or Day Skipper - £770 A five day practical course which can accommodate both Day Skipper and Competent Crew candidates, depending on ability and course requirements. We familiarise you with the yacht and spend the week port hopping whilst you gain experience and work towards your qualification. Competent Crew - An ideal way to develop your skills and to start to become an active crew member capable of contributing to the running of a boat. Course content includes learning how to steer the boat, what the sails do, knot-tying, basic seamanship principles and safety procedures. Day Skipper - Putting Day Skipper level theory into practice and taking command of both the boat and crew, you will also learn learn basic engine checks. This includes building on previous experience and developing new skills for close quarter manouevring, handling under power and sail, day navigation, with some night hours.
