The Mental Capacity Act & Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards for Managers and Senior Staff By the end of the course, you will be able to: Explain your legal responsibilities under the MCA and DoLS. The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the minimum knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. Developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health. The Care Certificate is made up of the 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are 'new to care' and should form part of a robust induction programme. At 3CP training, we have redesigned the theory aspects from all 15 standards and developed these into a three-day affordable intensive course, leaving the manager, once completed, to use the rest of the thirteen-week recommended induction period to be spent on Competency checks of the worker and subsequent completion of the Care Certificate. To ensure compliance, this course has been approved by our local health authority and has been successfully rolled out for many years.

During this beginners course at our central London studios you will learn how to utilise Photoshop's powerful image editing capabilities. You will receive expert training in using tools for resizing, retouching and enhancing images with selections and layers.

Our beginners Adobe Illustrator course provides effective training in the use of Illustrator's tools to create stunning illustrations and type effects. From our London studios you will learn to design logos and printable documents, work with colours, gradients, layers, fonts, and photos to create eye-catching illustrations and text effects.

For New Mums And Their Children Improve Wellbeing We offer time to discover what you and your child enjoy. We explore mindfulness and grounding exercises for mums/carers and babies. Enjoy The Fresh Air A cosy campfire, campfire treats, play, crafts and walks in the woods are very much part of these sessions and make the most of being outdoors. Story telling and singing, seasonal crafts and getting hands on in the mud kitchen give your child lots of options for fun in the fresh air. Build Connections Building connections with your babies and other mums is a very natural progression as you have time to relax and enjoy each others company. Supporting All New Mamas Wednesdays 11am - 1pm (term time) Mamas in nature supports new Mums and their babies. This safe, supportive space can bring everybody positivity, connection and joy. The feed back from Mums is really positive with members feeling more relaxed, supported and calmer. Mama’s in Nature is partly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and is only £3 per carer per session. Access to these sessions is for existing attendees or via social prescribing. What you might need We are outside all year round so warm and waterproof clothes (for you and for baby) will help you enjoy the sessions. We have a range of outdoor clothing, slings etc which can be borrow for the sessions at no charge, so don’t worry if you don’t have all you need. If you have a sling or pushchair suitable for woodland walks and a change of clothes for baby, as they may get muddy and wet, bring them along. We also have use of an indoor space where needed.

Building on our Introduction to Illustrator (or your exisiting basic knowledge) you will learn how to work with colours, create printable documents, use gradients, layers, fonts, text effects, work with page and product design along with many other more advanced features.

InDesign is the professional choice for creating brochures, posters, magazines, e-books and apps. Through this introductory course, based at our London studios, you will receive expert InDesign training in how to create documents and prepare them for print or export as a PDF. Professional colour management, typography and advanced graphics and effects are all explored. This course covers all you need to know to get started with the application.

During this 1 day Intermediate level InDesign course you will explore powerful layout and typographical controls, working with layers, creating multipage documents, using clipping paths and preparing for print. This course is ideal for anybody who already uses InDesign and wishes to progress to a professional level. Comprehensive colour management, typography and advanced graphics and effects are also covered.

During this 1 day intermediate level course you will learn how to utilise the powerful image editing capabilities of Adobe Photoshop. Building on the topics covered in our Introduction to Photoshop, you will learn how to work with multiple layers, use layer masks, learn how to use smart objects, add sophisticated filters. Re-touching and repairing, montages and image correction techniques are also covered.

This 1 day course has been designed especially for more experienced users of InDesign who are looking to create complex documents and make full use of the programme’s advanced tools and features. The course covers advanced type formatting options and text controls, as well as how to use live corner effects and build interactive documents. You will also explore liquid layout and power-user shortcuts, and much more.
