Introduction to First Aid Age Range: 8yrs – 11yrs Course Length: 90 Minutes Cost:  £20 + vat per child Maximum of 12 SYLLABUS A range of subjects are covered, including:- Responsibilities & Reporting Assessment of the situation Dealing with an unresponsive casualty Basic Hygiene in First-Aid CERTIFICATION Resuscitation & AED Awareness Anatomy Minor injuries Bleeding control Burns Choking Epilepsy Shock Maximum of 12 People All learners will have the skills and knowledge to provide the organisation with Emergency First Aiders who can provide treatment to their casualties in a prompt, safe and effective manner. This accredited One-Day Qualification meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. Our experienced Instructors provide hands-on training during the Children’s First Aid Courses using child-sized mannequins and other equipment specifically designed for Paediatric First-Aid training. This ensures that our trainees are well-prepared to handle real-life emergencies involving children.

Every Adult Swimming teacher is highly qualified in teaching swimming, SE Level 2, a Lifeguard Qualification, First Aid, Certified in Safeguarding Adults and current DBS checked. We simply know and love our job and programme, We are proud to be one of the best swim schools in your area.

You can start your baby’s swimming journey as soon as you feel ready to visit a warm swimming pool. We have had babies taking their first swim at only four weeks old. The sooner you start swimming lessons for your baby the better their understanding and confidence in the water will be. Your baby’s first experience in a structured swimming lesson is a wonderful and gentle introduction to water sensory techniques. We will teach you how to be comfortable and confident holding, moving, floating and playing with your baby in the pool.

School age children can enroll onto our Beginners, Intermediate or Advance Level swimming lessons. At the majority of these lessons, the teacher is in the water for best teaching practice and support. At Beginners Level, an assistant may help in the water. At more Advance Level, the teacher may instruct and supervise the group lesson from poolside. Nervous swimmers are introduced to move around the pool with buoyancy aids in a group. Your teacher will help your child to develop confidence and submerge the face in the water from the first lesson.

Our programme for toddlers is aimed at teaching your child water confidence, key lifesaving skills, a life long love of the water and building the first steps towards swimming unaided. In our sessions your child will benefit from increasing strength, coordination and exercises focused in progression and enjoyment at every lesson. We use songs and games to ensure your little one loves the time you spend together in the pool. We put emphasis on having lots of fun.
