Michelle is a Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant (CDBC) and the founder and head trainer of PAWSitively Happy Home. A lifelong animal lover she’s owned several dogs, cats, birds, fish and various other fuzzy critters. Dogs, however, have always had a special place in Michelle’s heart. We understand the stress that a poorly behaved dog can have on the owner and the dog. We work with you, teaching you to train your dog in a way that clearly communicates with them your desires and expectations. We use methods that motivate the dog to learn, and we never use fear or pain to accomplish our goals. Even the most stubborn of dogs respond to our methods! Our methods are firmly based in science and are used and developed by the world’s leading dog trainers and veterinary behaviourist. Michelle has formal education in psychology, advanced behaviour modification, teaching strategies, positive systems approach, ethology, animal behaviour and welfare, anatomy and physiology, pedagogy, training methods, and applied behavioural analysis. She has had the opportunity to study with and collaborate with excellent trainers and behavioural consultants that are respected, successful and internationally known. Education and development is an integral part of developing our business and passion. Michelle is a member of The Pet Professional Guild, The International Association of Animal Behaviour Consultants,Family Paws Parent Education, Family Dog Mediation and others. Continuing education a part of Michelle’s regular schedule and she takes having the best more accurate information very seriously . Michelle is also a proud licensed educator for the Family Paws Parent Education. Allowing her to share not only her love of dogs, but children and helping foster positive relationships between babies, toddlers and pets. Dear Parent Culross Primary School is a small school set in the historical village of Culross. The main school building has 4 classrooms. There is a dining/gym hall, a library, a resource area and office accommodation. We opened one of our classrooms as a Confucius Classroom in February 2018 and we have one Chinese exchange teacher based here. As well as teaching across the Queen Anne High School cluster they offer immersion days for all pupils across West Fife and Queen Anne High cluster schools. We have a large playground and grassed area, which is used to its full advantage throughout the year for play, sports, outdoor learning and Eco-activities. We promote active travel to school using the WOW Travel Tracker. We follow the The Curriculum for Excellence where learning and teaching focuses on all curricular areas, ensuring balance, breadth, coherence and depth. Children have the opportunity to be taught a musical instrument from P5 onwards. We have a Support for Learning Teacher based in school to support and challenge where needed. The Parent Council is very supportive of the school and the fundraising branch supports the school through fundraising and organising fun events. A residential excursion is offered to P6/7 every year to Ardroy Outdoor Education Centre. We also offer a variety of sports in addition to the PE curriculum. We have been awarded our Silver Sports Scotland Award which we are very proud of. We run a Bikeability award every year for P5/6/7. We are also a Health Promoting School. Our pupils run a healthy tuck shop - Monday to Friday. We provide school dinners which are brought in from Camdean Primary School. All Primary 1 - Primary 5 receive free school meals. We have recently been awarded Level 1 Rights Respecting School Accreditation.

One to Learn CIC delivers specialist dyslexia assessing and teaching Maths and English via One to One tuition for pupils working at p level to GCSE Level 3 – 5. Catering for both Mainstream and Home Educated pupils. Lessons are available at Tutors Home in Shrewsbury, or at school / college. We represent parents in Tower Hamlets who are concerned about Relationship & Sex Education (RSE) in schools. Joining together to work for a better RSE policy from LBTH and Schools. Parents are the primary educators of their children. The rights and duty of parents are to ensure the education of their children should be in line with their religious faith and values. Children are entrusted by parents to teachers and schools. The expectation in this trust is that schools should teach their children, in what parents see as, being in the best interests of their children. These rights of parents are enshrined in Human Rights Law, clearly recognising and protecting them by law.

The number of young people with mental health problems is rising and is a concern for many parents. At Thinking-Together our approach is preventative. Your relationship with your pre-teen/teen is crucial in supporting their self-esteem and mental health. In our experience, a lack of knowledge and understanding from parents/guardians can lead to hostile/strained relationships which contributes to young people’s poor mental health such as lack of confidence, low mood and anxiety. During the pre-teen/teen years your children change. They spend more time away from you, they are more secretive and their behaviour becomes more erratic. It can be hard to know what is “typical teenager” behaviour and when to be concerned about your child.
