The work of a technical team is invariably challenging and often unpredictable. Definition of the work can be problematic, timescales can be hard to estimate and the right technical approach difficult to select. Staff involved in this type of work usually have very high levels of specialist knowledge in their field and have high expectations of those who lead them. In addition to the challenges of the work, the team leader often has to balance the need for professional excellence with financial and commercial considerations and to ensure that team goals are realistic by being an effective negotiator with other project and senior managers. These characteristics make technical team leadership a demanding and complex activity. This programme aims to help participants develop the skills needed to become an effective technical team leader. Immediate Life Support One Day Course Cost:  £95+ vat Maximum 6 people This course includes the latest CPR and Coronavirus recommendations. This ILS training course is designed to meet the requirements of ILS training laid down by UK Resus Council guidelines and is certified by ProTrainings. The aim is to train healthcare personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, simple airway management and safe defibrillation, enabling them to manage patients in cardiac arrest until the arrival of a cardiac arrest team and to participate as team members. The course is run over one day and consists of lectures and practical sessions. LEARNING CONTENT Learning content in this ILS and AED Training Course goes above and beyond BLS training with this immediate Life Support (ILS) Course, learning much more about the Human Body. The aim of this ILS and AED course is to: Understand basic life support requirements. Be able to demonstrate post-resuscitation procedures. Be able to carry out basic user maintenance and troubleshooting AED. Understand the safe use of an AED. Understand medical emergencies. Embark on a journey to become a workplace hero with our comprehensive one-day First Aid course. This dynamic and engaging training program is designed to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to handle emergency situations confidently and effectively.

This course is ideal for all, from beginners to confident makers with only a few hours to spare. You will learn the basics of leather craft for accessories and be introduced to techniques including machine stitching on leather, hand finishing and hand cutting. You will be working with a hard sturdy veg tanned leather. This is a perfect introductory course to start your journey into Leatherwork and bag making as you will experience the wide variety of tasks involved in the work. In order to complete your belt in a day we will use part pre-prepared components and the purse will be made from a 'Hands of Tym' pattern but do not fear there is still plenty of work for you to do. During the day you will be directed by your tutor Leathersmith and London College of Fashion Lecturer Georgie Tym to make a 'raw edge' Belt sized to fit you exactly with opportunity for personalisation. There will be one buckle as closure and the opportunity to choose leather colours to enable a bespoke piece. The dimensions of the belt are either W38mm or W25mm - length will depend on you! It will be the same design and construction as the belt in the photos featured. The course will be run from the HOME STUDIO of Hands Of Tym in Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 9DH Maximum class size is 4 What's included in the price? There are NO ADDITIONAL costs. All leather, hardware and other materials will be included.
