Identifying mental health conditions Providing advice and starting a conversation Stress Mental health conditions CERTIFICATION Level 1 Award in Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment. This qualification is valid for three years from the date of achievement. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training. The learner must complete the full course again to re-qualify for a further three years. The course is 3 hours. One item of Material is chosen at the beginning along with a design. Designs can come from imagination, books that are supplied for tracing or images from customers phones can also be chosen. This is then followed by a tutorial and then the customer is ready to go. Tea and coffee is offered free of charge. Customers take home their art work.

There will be a light lunch served at midday and tea/ coffee breaks throughout. Location: Sessions can be run online or from the Workshop of Hands Of Tym in Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 9DH. Parking: Parking is available on the drive with easy access via the M40. Transport: Banbury train station is a 30 min walk.
