Fun, interactive, fully accredited First Aid at Work 3 day course

The course is a four-hour refresher session for those who have completed the Mental Health First Aid two day course. Just like physical first aid, we recommend you refresh your skills regularly and keep up-to-date.

Emergency First Aid at Work: What will you learn? The course covers everything listed below. There will be practical demonstrations, a bit of role playing and some activities to keep things engaging and interesting. I’m happy to tailor the content with additions. For instance, if you’d like me to focus on treating sprained ankles because this is a particular risk at your workplace, that’s fine. During the course, you’ll be trying out your newly-learned techniques with a whole range of equipment, including mannequins. And… this course includes the Bra Off, Defib On. Did you know that women are less likely than men to survive when a defibrillator is used on them in a medical emergency? Proper pad placement is crucial, and you’ll learn this life-saving skill. Site supervisor safety training scheme refresher (SSSTS-R)

This hands-on, practical course gives parents, grandparents, and carers the confidence to handle common childhood emergencies. Learn lifesaving skills including CPR, the recovery position, and how to respond to choking, bleeding, burns, head injuries, anaphylaxis, asthma, meningitis, and more. Taught in a friendly and accessible way, this course is ideal for anyone who wants to feel prepared and calm in a crisis. Babies and are welcome to attend the course. We don't mind if they need feeding, changing etc. Our space is welcoming and friendly - and we are passionate about you being able to access the course, not having to have the extra hassle of arranging childcare.

This 2-day course offers the requalification of a variety of first aid situations and how to respond to an emergency. It gives delegates the confidence to deal with any of these situations safely and efficiently.

BOHS P903 - Management and control of evaporative cooling and other high risk industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in Evaporative Cooling and other high risk Industrial type systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901 - Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services. Where both P901 and P903 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this prerequisite is waived.
