The VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Enhancing Eyebrows with Microblading Techniques is an advanced therapies qualification aimed at 18+ learners, who wish to pursue a career as a microblading technician. This qualification is based on attaining professional competence within the discipline of microblading and includes the required elements to work effectively as a microblading technician. Learners must achieve all mandatory units: Health and safety in the salon Client care and consultation Enhance appearance using microblading techniques Anatomy and physiology for microblading techniques Eyebrow shaping services Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of the process of microblading. They will also develop the ability to apply practically the knowledge, understanding and skills to enable them to enhance eyebrow with microblading techniques. In parallel, learners will develop their communication skills, consultation and client care skills and time management skills, all of which are valued highly by employers. Learners are required to complete a series of assessment for each unit, verifying the learner's understanding and practical implementation of the knowledge and skills required to attain professional competence. Within the microblading unit, learners are required to produce evidence of a series of case studies, consolidating and demonstrating consistent applications of all the knowledge and practical skills in one place.

This one day course will teach students how to extend the natural lash whilst adding volume, using synthetic lashes. Students will learn the technique for applying individual eyelashes and how to use products and tools used during the service.

his course covers the technique for eyebrow tinting, eyebrow waxing, threading the eyebrows and surrounding area and the application of make-up to the eyebrow area. It also includes fantastic anatomy & physiology resources with clear diagrams. Reception, consultation and aftercare guidance is covered as well as contra-indications to treatment. Photographs and diagrams ensure this course is both engaging and informative to give you the confidence to perform this very popular treatment.  Includes: 2 Hard copy take home training manuals. Duration – Fast track two-day practical classroom-based training plus online theory work. Theory work to be completed in your own time via The Guild student portal before your practical course date. Practical day – 10.30am-4.30pm. It is advisable that students arrive 15 mins early to ensure a prompt start. In a lot of cases the practical training can be finished earlier than expected depending on how many students there are, and the time taken on practical work.
