I provide coaching and careers guidance. I work as a freelance consultant, based in Beckenham (in the London borough of Bromley). Here you can read more about me and how I work. For many years I worked for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery, which in 2013 merged and became part of Health Education England. My work was focused on careers, training and education for the NHS. I became a careers adviser in 2009, gaining a PG Dip in Careers Education at the University of Warwick. During this period, I mainly worked with doctors, either on a 1:1 basis or in group sessions. I helped them choose their medical specialities, as well as supporting them through a competitive interview process. Since the summer of 2017 I have worked as a freelance coach and careers consultant. I provide business to business careers consultancy and also work with private clients. My private coaching clients are mainly adults, from college students to people that want to undergo a career change. I help with career choice, coaching and careers guidance to improve any aspect of work or work/life balance. I also work with people who need help and advice to set up their own businesses. How I work My philosophy is to work with clients using ‘unconditional positive regard’ as the foundation stone of my practice. Carl Rogers, a humanistic psychologist in the 1950s, first developed this as a concept. This means I work from a place of having utmost respect for my client. I work in a holistic way, which helps the client find their own learning and life and helps people who want to change. I may explore with the client: questions relating to life purpose, the quality of relationships (work and home), feelings, career and health. BPS qualified in the use of psychometric assessments, I am trained in the Type Dynamics Indicator. I am also on on the Careers Development Institute registered list of career development professionals.

S B Business Services is all about providing advice and solutions to ensure possible or potential issues and bottlenecks are quickly identified My career began as a Personal Assistant for a group of Accountants and Auditors. I studied Sales and Marketing whilst working as a Care Worker in the Community, seeing the other side of life which most of us either avoid or deny. Later, I started a family. As my children were growing up, I decided to establish my consultancy business, consulting for a local independent newspaper, a local pallet company as well as, Admiral Commercial Cleaning, a valued client to this day. In addition, I branched out into Health and Safety Management then Management in Construction and qualified as a trainer, assessor and IQA. I continued consulting part-time for small businesses and worked in the local community piloting community projects, in mentoring. Following a successful pilot project for the Local Authority, I was “head-hunted” by the HMPS to create a mentoring scheme for “Lifer prisoners.” This project was a success, reducing re-offending in young adults by 40% across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Due to the prison closure in March 2013, the project continues in-house today. In 2015 I was awarded "Outstanding for contribution to the Business” achieving a growth of 1mm in 12 months, Leading the training provision for government contracts (SFA and ESF) with Department of Work & Pensions - Southeast, Hampshire, Isle of Wight. Researchtec is a market research, business development, IT solutions and digital marketing consultancy based in Uganda. Our mission is to support and empower businesses for success through the provision of digital and research-based solutions. Part of the reason why so many businesses fail, not just in Uganda, but across Africa, is because they lack solid data, information and robust insights on local markets, competitors and customers. Knowledge is power. Information is the new gold. Without robust data on the size of the market you want to serve, for instance, you cannot make a safe investment decision. Of the top 20 official reasons why new business ventures fail, at number 1 is - NO MARKET NEED. Not even passion or incredible marketing can rescue a business started without first understanding if there is a market need for its product or service. To avoid joining the failure list, first, understand your market! And it all starts with market research. Insights, data and information, about everything concerning your competitors, market, or customers. From who they are, to what they buy from your competition, and their entire demographic profile (class, age, status, income, preferences etc.). Our market researchers process this raw data to create insights, robust information and vital knowledge about everything regarding your customer! Good businesses perish for lack of this knowledge. Mostly because they don't want to pay or don't see any value in paying for this knowledge. But knowledge comes at a cost, one you cannot afford to skip when your competitors will use it and are using it. Trust us. More importantly, you are getting us, the A team. We work with some of the biggest companies in the world and have 1,000s of portfolio samples to back this up. If you want to see some of our past client market research work, feel free to drop us an email or come by our office. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

Training For Success

Berkshire

TFS leads the way on customer satisfaction, reliability and creativity and has demonstrated a significant return on investment to our clients since incorporation in 1997. Supporting organisations to minimise corporate threats engages with three key aspects: Education, Legal certainty and added value. Education: TFS operates up to and including level 8, the highest level of the educational spectrum. The domestic regulated UK security sector, for example, is positioned at level 2. Legal certainty: TFS has its own dedicated team of LLB (Hons) practitioners and therefore provides complete peace of mind to customers. Not all providers can claim this guarantee. For example, The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 provides the framework for legal compliance in terms of personal safety training. The findings in R v Cotswold Geotechnical Holdings (CGH). 2011 EWCA Crim 1337 amplify the requirement to integrate reliable industry practice. TFS exceeds these standards with the inclusion of the nonintrusive body mechanics approach. Other providers fall significantly short of this benchmark and can leave clients vulnerable to litigation. Equally Investigative procedures should be ethical, fair and reliable. TFS maintains the gold standard of The Home Office Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE) codes of practice and the TFS interview model has been adopted by Hertfordshire Constabulary. Not all providers can demonstrate this approach and compliance to domestic law. Added value: TFS provides training and consultancy to a broad range of corporate and governmental clients both within the UK and overseas. Examples of ROI’s have engaged with an 80% reduction in assaults on staff (leading UK supermarket) and interventions that have driven improvements in shrinkage figures that contributed to a year-on-year saving of £2M (FTSE 100 client). TFS continues to meet the rigorous RSQS accreditation: The RSQS accreditation mark is valued by some of the largest purchasers in retail industry and indicates that you have gone through the process and have demonstrated your commitment and credentials to the industry.
