This Course is ideal for smaller work places for persons in a lower risk work environment. Who Should Attend? Any member of an organisation who would find themselves in charge, or who has been appointed to take charge of first aid during a first aid emergency in the absence of a qualified First Aider. To help address this complex and yet commonplace experience, we’ve designed a one-day workshop to help professionals who experience passive-aggressive behaviour and toxic interpersonal communication in the workplace cope more effectively. Designed to be a decisive first step into gaining control over workplace toxicity, over the course of one day, attendees will be taught to recognise patterns of passive-aggressive behaviours and will learn how to respond appropriately to it. The workshop we will work through exercises to help demystify passive-aggressiveness so that it can be rendered increasingly more harmless to those who experience it routinely. Through specially designed exercises informed by the field of Emotion Psychology and Neuroscience you will also learn how to be less affected by it without resorting to repressing your emotions and shutting down.

Who Should Attend This course is aimed at candidates that require the knowledge to enable them to comply with working at height regulations, and go in depth into industry dangers and respectability when working at height.  This course can be completed by both novice and experienced candidates. We also offer refresher tests. Novice course- 1/2 day Experienced worker tests- 1/2 day. Course information Category N404 Safe Working At Height It is envisaged that by the end of this course of training the learner will be able to answer questions on and perform the following: ➢ Have a basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities when working at height ➢ Be able to define height work and identify the hazards of work above ground level and outline the general requirements necessary to control them ➢ Be able to identify accident causation in work at height ➢ Have an appreciation of planning and organisation of work at height ➢ Set up exclusion zone explaining actions required for emergency actions, identifying any overhead hazards ➢ Identify and maintain PPE appropriate for safe working at height use ➢ Demonstrate working at height and explain all safety issues that could arise Assessment Assessment will be to NPORS standards consisting of a theory test.

NRSWA Streetworks Operative The NRSWA operative course is for anyone who wants to undertake physical work on roads within the UK. Including excavation, back-fill, reinstatement, signing, guarding and using tarmac and cold-lay materials. NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor The NRSWA streetworks supervisor training is for people moving in to a supervisor role. A streetworks supervisor is only allowed to monitor the activities of a streetworks operative and cannot undertake any physical work. On every live site, for operatives to carry out work there must legally be a streetworks supervisor present. Please note: a person can have both the operative and supervisor qualifications which will allow them to supervise and carry out physical operative work at the same time. Previous experience of working on street works or on roads would assist the candidates but it is not essential.

This first aid course is ideal for primary and nursery school teachers, child minders and child careers. Learn how to manage emergency situations or minor everyday occurrences when looking after infants through to teenagers. Qualification meets the criteria defined for first aid training in the Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory Framework (EYFS) and Ofsted first aid requirements for registered childminders. It can also be used as evidence for employees working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
