The IRATA Level 1 is the entry level into the rope access industry. An IRATA Level 1 technician will be able to perform a range of rope access manoeuvres and have an understanding of the current legislation. An IRATA Level 1 is required to be supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician.

The First Aid at Work Requalification course is designed to 'requalify' existing First Aiders and gives candidates the opportunity to learn up-to-date best practices. The course is held regularly at our Medical Education Group Education Centre located near Ellesmere Port. Our first aid requalification training gives learners the chance to update their skills through practical, theoretical and scenario based learning. Learners must be at least 14 years old on the first day of training and be able to perform tasks at floor level. There are no other formal entry requirements but we strongly recommend that Learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The Learner needs to retake the qualification before the certificate expiry date to remain qualified.

This IRATA rope access course is for candidates who already have an IRATA Level 1 qualification, plus 1,000 hours of work on ropes, one year of experience from your previous Level 1 assessment and a Level 1 certificate that is still in date.

In Level 1 the emphasis is on self healing. You will receive four attunements to help you remember that you are, and always have been Reiki. You will be taught the five principles to assist you in keeping mindfulness and setting the intention. You will be given the first symbol, Cho Ku Rei.

It gives your new detailing business the best possible start, optimising it for success and backed with a resource for any issues you may encounter. The Level 1 Course is available as either this standard vehicle course or alternatively a motorbike-focused course. Business practices and health and safety are explored covering areas such as pricing, marketing, SDS and environmental conformity. The Level 1 Course is available as either a car or motorcycle course. Alternatively, candidates can book an additional day on Motorcycle Detailing as a bolt-on to an automotive Level 1 Course here. Practical assessment takes place as part of the original training session, at the end of the course you will be assigned a (manageable) series of case studies and exercises to complete over 3 months to cement the knowledge. There is then a short externally assessed exam before the optional commencement of Level Two, to ensure there are no weak areas. After which the Level One accreditation is awarded and you can either progress or choose to practice the skills gained with ongoing support.
