Some football coaching is all about creating world class players. Other clubs are about having a bit of fun on a Saturday morning. Soccer Shooters is different. We combine top quality coaching with a relaxed and inclusive environment, enabling children of all backgrounds and abilities to sharpen their football skills while also learning life skills that will serve them well, no matter what they want to do in the future. We aim to create a culture where kids love to play the game. Where they look forward to practices and games because they know they will have fun, they’ll be given the opportunity to be the best they can be, and to understand and appreciate the benefits of teamwork while contributing to the wider community. The joy of playing a sport can last a lifetime and we want to contribute to that joy and help as many children as possible to find it. In doing so, we also want to give parents, friends and wider family the sense of pride they will get from having enabled their children to achieve this. Our Mission To enable every parent to provide their children with the opportunity to develop and grow through sport, we call it ‘Growing up through football’. Our aim is to raise the bar in inclusive youth coaching which will ensure all children have access to first class appropriate Football coaching. Our Vision A world of confident children who have grown up through the game of football. We aim to create a culture where kids love to play the game. They look forward to practices and games as times when they will have fun, be given opportunity to be the best they can be, understand and appreciate the benefits of team work, while contributing to the wider community.

Sir John Dunford During his 50-year career in education, John Dunford has held a wide range of roles. These were outlined in the introduction to his book, ‘The School Leadership Journey’, published in November 2016 by John Catt. http://www.johncattbookshop.com/the-school-leadership-journey John was general secretary of the Association of School and College Leaders (formerly the Secondary Heads Association) from 1998 to 2010. Prior to that, he was a member of the leadership team of three secondary schools in the north-east of England from 1974 to 1998, including 16 years as head of Durham Johnston Comprehensive School, an 11-18 school with 1500 pupils. John was a member of the Councils of Durham and Nottingham Universities for 11 and 6 years respectively and was a member of the Local Government Association’s Commission on the Organisation of the School Year. He was chair of Whole Education from 2010 to 2019, the Chartered Institute of Educational Assessors from 2011 to 2014 and of the charity Step Together Volunteering from 2010 to 2018. He served on the board of trustees of Teach First and the advisory board of Future Leaders from the inception of those organisations and was a member of the governing council of the National College for School Leadership. John was the government’s National Pupil Premium Champion from 2013 to 2015, an independent role in which he worked with schools, trusts, teaching schools and local authorities on the effective use of the pupil premium to raise the educational achievement of disadvantaged pupils, reporting back to the Department for Education on issues raised by school leaders and teachers. John is a trustee of the Learn Academies Trust in south Leicestershire.

It was a question I asked myself a hundred times a day once I had made the decision to leave my marriage. Many things flashed before my mind - child, money, work, ME. I had great family and some good friends but I was still very lost and emotional, yet in possibly one of the worst times of my life I needed to make life-changing decisions about my future. It wasn’t easy. In fact at times it was almost unbearable, Police were involved, solicitors, mediators, the works. It was heart breaking, and complicated and I felt like I was poking around in the dark a lot of the time, but I came out the other side still in one piece, feeling positive and strenghthened by what I had been through with the help of a coach. It wasn't just during the divorce that I needed a coach...I mean what did the life of a single lady look like? I had a toddler, a house, and a business and again I was lost, whilst stronger and more resilient than ever before I wanted a new chapter to start, and working with my Coach my life changed. I am an NLP practitioner, Reiki Master and have a diploma in counselling. From 2006 I grew a coaching and healing business based in Bristol and then decided to niche into Divorce Coaching as there wasn’t anything like that available in my area. And here I am. I offer 1:1 coaching sessions and workshops, and for clients who want it I provide a service that runs alongside with their solicitor so that they are focussed and ready when they arrive and can make clear and well informed decisions.

Target sports for all, assault rifle shooting, axe throwing, archery, crossbow and airgun shooting for all that want to try their hand at it.We can provide assault rifle shooting. That’s real bullets using a semi-automatic rifle. The bullets fly as quick as you can pull the trigger from a 25-round magazine. Our shooting club is home office approved and follows the sports of Lightweight sport rifle and gallery rifle. In the future we intend to provide competitions for people to test their skills against others. For those that have already tried the Assault rifles, we now have new for 2022, a speed shooting activity. Our range is suitable for indoor air gun shooting. We also provide coaching for those that wish to compete on the air gun circuit, including opportunities for postal competitions. We offer training to international level in crossbow shooting through the National Smallbore rifle association and the world crossbow shooting association. Both postal and face to face competitions are available at up to 65 metres distance on away days. Axe throwing is a great sport for beginners to get into, and we have a resident club called the Essex backyard throwers who are always looking for members and again compete both nationally and internationally. For those wanting to get to that standard all it needs is a bit of practice and guidance and look out world. We have a range of Clubs which offer development and time to practise your skills, amongst new friends. In this environment we can provide coaching and training to help you along your way. Welcome to Priory Primary School’s website. We are a large primary school situated in the west of the City of Hull. We are part of the Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust along with 6 other primary schools and 2 secondary schools. We are a school which is committed to providing an exciting, challenging, connected curriculum which supports lifelong learning, physical and emotional well-being and encourages all our children to have high aspirations for their future. We work with the whole school community to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment. Currently we are working hard to reestablish our usual routines in school following the disruption of the pandemic while continuing to ensure that we operate safely and follow our new risk assessments to mitigate the risk of the virus spreading in our school community. If children are unable to be at school at this time because they have tested positive for COVID, but are well enough to work, we offer remote learning through Google Classroom. This is as closely aligned to the classroom curriculum as possible. Children will be offered access to dongles to provide internet access and a device if they do not have this available at home. If a child is entitled to Free School Meals this is also available. Working in partnership with parents is crucial as together we can ensure your child feels safe, valued and happy. We are looking forward to being able to invite parents into school again when it is safe to do so and until that time we are very responsive to emails, to our admin address or the year group email addresses, and telephone calls.
