Welcome to The Christie School of Oncology’s Integrative Therapies Training Unit (ITTU). As a world renowned ITTU, we are delighted to offer a range of educational events including standalone workshops, diplomas and conferences for integrative therapists, complementary therapists, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) and researchers. The content of some of our events are also suited to nurses and medical staff. At the ITTU, we have been proudly supporting all our students for more than 20 years, providing them with training that is well researched, informative and evidence-based and reflective of up-to-date clinical practice. All our educational events are designed to provide students with continuing professional development (CPD) certifications and to equip them with practical knowledge and skills that they can integrate into the healthcare they provide to their own patients, as well as carers. Our team of both internal and external fully-qualified facilitators are all passionate about producing and delivering an extensive programme of events, which we are sure you will find informative and inspiring. Children's TV and Film School We are a part time TV and film school for children based at Pinewood Studios. We deliver a unique range of screen and film classes in a fun and practical way to 6-16 years. We are passionate about ensuring that children are well trained and we offer our students a huge wealth of opportunities to meet casting directors, directors, top coaches. We offer lessons, close to the new Shinfield Studios in Reading, on Sunday mornings from 10.30am until 12.30pm and close to Pinewood studios in Iver Heath on Tuesday evenings 5pm until 6pm We offer weekly acting lessons exclusively for TV and films. Ideal for beginners, our courses allow children to learn techniques that build their confidence in a fun and unique way. Children perform against green screens on a weekly basis. Every week we focus on a different style and scenario making these classes fun and highly interactive. Children will receive immediate feedback and at the end of each term their work will be showcased in a glamorous red carpet style premiere event for their friends and family. Children who are currently represented in the industry can learn techniques for onscreen acting. Positive Psychology Training was founded by Miriam Akhtar MAPP in 2010 to put positive psychology into practice and has become one of the leading providers of positive psychology training and coaching in the UK. Our clients range across the business and not-for-profit sectors along with social enterprises and include healthcare, financial services, the creative industries, education, green business, environment, defence, law and the media. As we move into our second decade the focus is on how positive psychology can help people perform at their best, help businesses to grow and provide a scientifically-based solution to many of the challenges that organisations face. About NSW Netball South West is managed by the Regional Management Board (RMB) which consists of voluntary, elected and appointed trustees. The trustees chair one of 5 working groups which are responsible for matters such as ‘competition and events’, ‘education and training’ and ‘marking and communications’ and have certain other responsibilities such as heading up our relationship with Team Bath. The RMB is responsible for the management and development of Netball in the South West, identifying and meeting the needs of everyone involved in netball to enhance participation experiences and encourage the uptake of the sport. The RMB co-ordinate the Regional Performance Programme, organise the Regional Leagues, oversee the strategic future of netball in the South West and continually seek to develop coaches, umpires and volunteers.
