He has been a consultant to the Asian Development Bank, The World Bank and the European Investment Bank on petroleum sector policy, gas sales agreements, and production sharing contracts. This has included assignments in Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Laos, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, and Vietnam. Your expert course leader has been an adviser and trainer on negotiations for various petroleum companies including BP, BG Group, Gazprom, KazMunayGas, Perushaan Gas Negera, Pertamina, PETRONAS, Philippine National Oil Corporation, Total, Shell and Statoil. Ruth has over twenty years of Wood Carving and Pyrography experience and will guide you step by step to create a 2d Relief Carving on a solid piece of Local Wood using traditional gouged and mallets or a design drawn and burnt into the wood. The workshop will take place in an outdoor studio space set on the grounds of the 48 acres Birtley Estate.

Day 1 will start with an outdoor classroom input, and then out on the ground to practise some map reading skills and some compass work. Day 2 will be out on the hills all day, and will include individual assessments. The 2 days will be very relaxed and enjoyable. Successful candidates will receive an official NNAS certificate.

BOHS P903 - Management and control of evaporative cooling and other high risk industrial systems is there to provide background and an overview of the risk of Legionella infection and how it can be controlled in Evaporative Cooling and other high risk Industrial type systems. It is a requirement of this course that candidates have successfully completed P901 - Legionella- Management and Control of Building Hot and Cold Water Services. Where both P901 and P903 courses are run on subsequent days or as a combined course then this prerequisite is waived.
