The Regency Town House at 13 Brunswick Square, Hove, is a Grade 1 listed terraced property built in the 1820s as part of architect Charles Busby's 'Brunswick Estate'.  Today it is being developed as a museum and heritage centre with a focus on the architecture and social history of Brighton & Hove between the 1780s and 1840 Our main building at 13 Brunswick Square and its Basement Annexe a few doors away at number 10 are being restored to their former glory by our team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.  Years of accumulated paint layers have been removed, plasterwork and mouldings have been repaired and original finishes have been analysed and recreated. This gives provides an insight into the building materials and techniques that were used in the past and allows us to keep that expertise alive today as we learn how to recreate the To support the restoration process our volunteers organize fund-raising events, including workshops, performances, readings and recitals. The Town House rooms can be hired for art and photography exhibitions and events such as readings, book launches, and small functions.

The success of RVAA that started over a decade ago is nothing short of remarkable. The academy started with just six members and now has over 400 and a whole load of accolades and achievements. Former dancer Toni began RVAA 12 years ago in clitheroe, operating from school halls but the organisation quickly outgrew them. We want everyone to enjoy gymnastics, its such fun very friendly and great for building social confidence. The academy started purely as artistic but Toni went on to add rhythmic gymnastics to the class timetable. As it has flourished RVAA now offers disciplines in Men, Womens, rhythmic, pre-school & general gymnastics. New to our timetable will be Parkour. The members of RVAA have the opportunities at regional & national level at various competitions throughout the year. With a current coaching staff of 12 fully qualified British Gymnastics coaches, 6 junior leaders & 4 qualified teachers.

Beverley and Nigel Caleno own, run and are fully immersed in all aspects of Old Bank Studios life. We bought the Old Bank in Harwich in 2011. Having brought up and educated a family in Colchester, we were looking for a change of lifestyle and an opportunity to build on Bev’s Interior and Soft Furnishing business. Falling in love with this magnificent building and the unspoilt, faded charm of Harwich town, where beautiful architecture sits alongside maritime industry and stunning estuary views…….. we took the plunge. Bev very quickly opened her Textile Studio and it soon became clear that demand for her workshops and courses was going from strength to strength. Encouraged by this success, the decision was made to start inviting tutors from outside to deliver workshops; we were going to need more space! And so began a full restoration of the main banking hall; with it’s high ceiling, perfect light and ample space, our new Art Studio was created. As time went on a kitchen was installed in the former bank vault. Since our first Art Workshop in June 2013, we have successfully run hundreds of one day events and longer courses, attracting many of the country’s leading artists and tutors to work with us. Our reputation has spread far and wide and we regularly welcome students from the four corners of the UK, as well as further afield. On a personal level we both continue to explore and develop our own creativity and hold an annual exhibition of our work. Bev is firmly established as a Textile Artist and more recently a painter in Watercolour, whilst Nigel works in in many media, but is gaining a reputation as a Plein Air Oil Painter. ClayKilnCraft is an independent educational and training pottery set in the heart of Crystal Palace, South East London. Started in 2014 by ceramic artist Aliya Rashid giving wheel lessons in her studio for beginners, the company has evolved into a thriving creative space teaching people of all abilities to throw, handbuild and explore their inner artist while improving and building on their skills. After graduating in Ceramics at Camberwell College of Art with a first class honours degree, Aliya fell into teaching by accident after she was recommended by a friend to teach pottery at a centre 
for special needs adults in London. ‘It was a very challenging, but rewarding experience. I came away from that summer project completely humbled. I knew I wanted to do more. ‘It started small, with monthly lessons. When my students wanted more I found space in a basement converted toilet! And yes, it was as grim as it sounds. When it rained the smell was… very pungent! ‘I was thrilled to find the shop I’m in now. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get it to this stage. It’s all been done with sheer hard work, doing two jobs to finance everything. This is an independent studio and I’m determined it should stay that way. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and supportive whatever my students aims are. The studio is looking fantastic and the facilities improve on a weekly basis. ‘As well as core courses and classes for beginners and intermediates, we now offer open access to people of all abilities. The studio helps people to develop at their own pace to make what interests them whether they are hobby potters and just want to relax after a hard days work or they are serious potters looking to sell or exhibit their work. It is open 0900 to 1700 during winter months and 0900 to 1900 during the summer, extensions can also be arranged. We have a large fleet of popular two and four seat aircraft as well as complex single and multi engine piston aircraft available. Our facilities include dedicated briefing rooms and you may enjoy free beverages in a relaxing atmosphere with our operations staff. With an unobstructed view over the airfield and the Sussex hills. Coming from a traditional 12 month of the year bbq season ( Braai season) to a mind set that you only bbq in the summer months was interesting. We believe that cooking outdoors can and should be done year around, no matter the weather conditions. With our range of premium bbq’s we will be able to guide you how you can adapt what you cook on the bbq in order to enjoy great tasting food off the grill year around. Wether it be Christmas roasts, summer steaks or slow cooked winter stews and curries. We will be adding a BBQ Cooking Class in the future once our operations are fully up and running and are very excited to kick this part of our business off.
