Maybe you can’t decide which tools and equipment you need to buy to set up your own studio, or you even need some help with web site design?  Anna has a BA(Hons) degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing from the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery (if you watched the recent series of All That Glitters on TV, it’s that place!) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education, but its the 20+ years of practical experience in making jewellery, teaching others and running a business that’s really important! A fantastic opportunity to spend time in tranquil woodland in the heart of South East Kent making your own unique Hiking Staff, Walking Stick or Foraging Crook that you will value and use for a life time. You can choose to personalise your Staff with markings or carvings and could EVEN make your own Foraging Crook to use in the field on our Forage and Fire Course.  Sitting around a warm camp fire you will design and create your own personalised Staff/Stick with the guidance of an experienced instructor. During this one day practical event you WILL be... Given the tools and advice of how to make the most of your PERSONALISED design. Choose from various seasoned wood, Hazel, Ash or Maple. Decide on the length, the width and design for your UNIQUE Staff. Design and carve your own unique hiking staff Shown how to STRIP and SHAPE the seasoned wood correctly. Be given clear bushcraft instruction on SAFE knife and tool use. Provided with all the EQUIPMENT and materials needed, seasoned wood, tools, vanish and wax.  Carvings of your choice on your newly made Staff you may choose to add your own personal CARVING.  Given a choice of finishes for your Hiking Staff or Foraging Crook with either varnish or bees wax.  Choosing whether to add a rubber base to the bottom of your Staff. Knit a vibrant dishcloth using100% cotton yarn. Both sturdy and colourful, perfect to get the job done whilst brightening the moment. Make one for yourself or give it away. Material and needles supplied to make one cloth. Knitting stitches used: cast on, knit yarn round needle knit 2 together cast off

In this workshop, your child will create a selection of New Years Eve themed crafts including a rosette and 2024 calendar! The will be a break for squash and a snack and also a mini New Year countdown. This workshop is aimed at age 5+ and you may drop them off or stay for the session. Any age is also welcome along if you’re happy to craft with your little one, there is a 10% discount for all siblings. I will also be running Little Crafters session aimed at age 4 and under in the morning. In this workshop, your chid will create their own Christmas stocking using a variety of festive stencils and craft trims! We will also have a mini Christmas themed craft as well as a break for squash and a snack. Instructions We shouldn't get too messy during the workshop but please don't send your children in their best clothes!

Its peony season and London is in bloom! What better way to celebrate by creating a beautiful bouquet of gorgeous peonies? Our clients all time favourite flowers and one we look forward to coming into season each year. Come join me in the studio at West 16th SE21 where we will learn the art of building a beautiful hand-tied bouquet of the best seasonal flowers. Mix a gorgeous selection of flowers, fillers and foliage using the 'spiralling' technique used by the pros. We will be chatting through peony varieties, how to get the most out of them and sharing lots of flower hacks, tips and tricks along the way. We finish by learning presentation techniques and you'll leave with your floral creation to enjoy at home. The workshop will be held in the studio of West 16th, SE21 who will supply drinks and snacks included within the workshop price.

Learn the basics of how to use your sewing machine** Join our group class and learn how to confidently use your sewing machine. We will teach you things like threading your machine, some basic terminology and how to achieve good tension.  This is a great foundation for developing your sewing skills and creativity whilst having fun! **We recommend that you bring your sewing machine to learn on as all machines are slightly different. We have a limited number of sewing machines available to borrow if needed - Please enquire at time of booking**  

Join us and learn how to put pockets into your favourite garments! You will learn:  How to draft a basic pocket pattern  Which garments can realistically have pockets added (and why) How to insert pockets into a pre constructed garment **This workshop will require a basic ability with a sewing machine. If this is not something you feel confident with then we highly recommend joining our Sewing Machine Basics course before signing up for this one**
