Are you a teacher that has struggled with or is looking for behaviour support tools that actually work? There is no doubt that supporting children with their behaviour is challenging. This can be the case for new teachers and those that are more experienced.  There are so many behaviour systems out there that promise to change behaviour but unfortunately, they don't build long-lasting relationships and trust. I have been teaching at a challenging inner-city school for the past 6 years and have built a solid understanding of these environments. I have come across a whole range of behaviours I now run an alternative provision setting in a mainstream school as well as managing the SEMH needs of the school. In my training school, you can expect to receive high-level coaching that takes you on a journey on improving your understanding and implementation of behaviour support tools that actually work long term. I believe in a coaching model that provides evidence-based approaches without telling you what to do. That's why we only offer training to small groups - you'll never find more than 6 people on one of our courses (not including trainers), and some are limited to just 3 or 4. This is because we want you to have the best experience possible, and to be able to really explore the content and make it real and personal for you.

We are open Monday to Friday from 8am until 6pm all year round and closed on bank holidays and the period between christmas and new year Clarence House Nursery, set in the leafy West End of Glasgow, has indoor and outdoor facilities. Shirley Hexley, the nursery owner, has been providing wraparound childcare since 1998 for 0-5 year olds. Clarence House has an excellent reputation for having a calm and nurturing environment that encourages children to be independent, develop social skills and explore new experiences. Staff are committed to understanding the individual needs of each child and work closely with parents to consolidate learning and help each child reach their full potential. Clarence House is a small nursery and recent comments from parents have included “higglety pigglety” and “quirky”. Most visitors comment on the nice feeling they get when they come in. Because of the small size of the nursery it feels homely and welcoming. Children are not regulary moved about from room to room and this allows relationships to develop into meaningful and positive friendships that can last through to school. And in the words of one of the children “we are a happy nursery”. Some of our strengths are : Our highly qualified and experienced staff follow Pre-Birth to Three and the Curriculum for Excellence which provides a framework for learning and supports all children well as they make the transition into school. We offer a broad range of indoor and outdoor activities with a focus on Health and Wellbeing, Literacy and Numeracy. There are also opportunities for children to explore areas such as Science and Technology, Expressive Arts and Social Studies. A daily exercise programme which establishes an introduction to the importance of health and wellbeing. Fees include a hot cooked meal at lunchtime, snacks, drinks, external specialists, events and outings. Partnership with Glasgow City Council offers funding for all 3-5 year old who live within Glasgow City Council. Food Is Fun creates events for all ages, from Surestart Centres to Universities, from Schools to Care Homes. Each event is customised to fit in with the curriculum, specific requirements, diets or projects. Improving relationships with food in a fun way, Food is Fun is a community interest company that reinvests profits to make a difference to people's lives, promoting healthy eating for everyone in the South West. We deliver cooking and budgeting courses and workshops to various groups across Plymouth, teaching the benefits of healthy eating and how achieving a nutritious and balanced diet for the whole family can be achieved on a low budget.   Food Is Fun CIC created what we thought would be a small group to support others with food worries caused by the pandemic. Three years on we've grown our group hugely. It’s been a tough year and food has been a huge part of that for many of us. We’ve been on an incredible journey together – baking, trying new recipes, swapping ingredients when they’re unavailable, sharing money saving tips, growing our own fruit and vegetables and sharing our successes, as well as the lessons we have learned. Local Partnerships We have four educational sport partners; Halifax RLFC, Huddersfield Town FC, FC Halifax Town and Bradford Dragons Basketball Club. These partners provide us with coaching and facilities for our Sport Academy students. Engaging with Employers Rise at Calderdale College, the College’s employer services and business arm, works with over 500 companies across the region. Cambridge Gymnastics Academy CIC is a non-profit organisation, which was founded in May 2012. The company Director Kayleigh Plaza, had a vision to provide affordable gymnastics for all, no matter age, gender, income or ability/disability. The club has since evolved and with an incredibly dedicated staff team, together fundraised, saved and received grants from both the Council and Sport England totalling £250,000. In May 2016, CGA opened its doors to a dedicated facility at North Cambridge Academy. CGA prides itself on being a hub for the community. Sessions are available from 6 week old babies to adult, from recreational to elite, with the lowest priced classes in the area and we even offer a 10% discount for people on means tested benefits. After our pre-school classes, we offer free refreshments so families can build relationships with others. We offer classes for minority groups such as women’s only, over 50’s and specially designed disability sessions. We are an inclusive club, so in the evenings children with disabilities join in with our normal recreational sessions. We deliver curriculum support to the NCA students and run a youth night on a Friday evening to provide local young people with a safe environment. In 2017 our success & hard work was recognised by British Gymnastics and we were selected as 1 of 3 clubs in the whole of the UK to be shortlisted for the award ‘British Gymnastics Club of the Year’. Following this success CGA were also awarded the 2017 winners of the ‘Living Sports Community Club of the Year’ fighting off strong competition from sports clubs across Cambridgeshire. Both huge achievements for the club. The club is a registered member of both British Gymnastics and Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association and has a number of fully qualified coaches & judges up to National Level who are DBS checked, safeguard & first aid qualified.
