Canine Hoopers UK

Leics

Canine Hoopers UK was formed in 2017 to provide UK handlers and their dogs with a fun, fast, low-impact sport. Clubs, societies and individuals are able to host Canine Hoopers UK shows, competitions and training by Accredited Instructors. Canine Hoopers UK strives to protect the long term well-being of the dog by maintaining flowing courses of low impact obstacles and aims to be an inclusive dog sport making sure that this sport is accessible to all dogs and handlers, in particular large and tiny breeds, dogs which require a little extra space, patience or understanding and also to handlers with limited mobility. Canine Hoopers UK endeavours to promote only force free modern training techniques through the training and assessment and of our Accredited Canine Hoopers UK Instructor scheme. All Accredited Canine Hoopers UK Instructors have been thoroughly assessed and only awarded accreditation when they prove their understanding, knowledge and teaching aptitude, meaning you are secure in the knowledge that your learning journey will be both fun, and safe, and that the instruction you receive will be to the highest standard. We are committed to making sure that all Canine Hoopers UK Accredited Trainers are consistently teaching to a high standard, they use only modern force free training techniques and are promoting everything this wonderful sport has to offer. For those wishing to showcase their abilities, there are Canine Hoopers UK shows held all year round throughout the UK. Focusing on the partnership between dog and handler, CHUK competition courses will be smooth and flowing and can include optional handling challenges too for extra points! Unlike many other dog sports, progression is based on consistency rather than individual class wins.

London

Founded in 2010, Locksley Education is an international educational organisation with a clear aim: to create pathways in order to provide students with the skills and confidence they need to develop and succeed academically. We offer a range of services worldwide, including tailored private tuition, both online and in person, school and university placements, bespoke individual learning courses and clear reliable advice about all aspects of education for parents and students. Our experience working with students from outside the UK and US has given us a comprehensive understanding of the challenges faced by international students, particularly when studying in a second language and when adapting to a new and unfamiliar system. This experience, combined with our data-driven analytical approach, allows us to deliver a first class service worldwide. OUR ETHOS Locksley Education takes a very particular approach to private education, using tried and tested methods developed over the many years working in this field. All of our students, whatever their goals, receive individually tailored tuition based on our three-stage philosophy of Strategy, Preparation and Support. Prospective students are thoroughly assessed before commencing tuition and a bespoke study plan is drawn up. Each student’s progress is closely and carefully monitored throughout the learning process, and once specific goals have been achieved, all students are offered ongoing support to ensure their academic success continues. Our founders have amassed thousands of hours of teaching experience and this ensures we have a full understanding of who will make a good tutor before hiring, clear ideas of how tuition should be delivered, and an up-to-date insight into changes and developments within the world of education. All our tutors are highly qualified graduates from top UK and US universities with relevant experience and a track record of success.

Trust Training

Trust Training Limited (TTL) is a leading firm specialising in the provision of Training, Workshops and other Capacity Building Services aimed mainly at supporting Donor Funded Projects with specific reference to their design, objectives and guidelines. Since 2013 that we have been in existence, we have built deeper understanding of the requirements of these interventions and how these shape project delivery expectations and hence training. Our Trainings/Workshops are deeply committed to knowledge and skills transfer. These we achieve by offering both client specific and general programmes aimed at equipping all levels of staff with relevant and practical skills Our Philosophy is to make available especially to the donor funded project community, knowledge and competence that largely exist within that larger environment in one way or the other but have become inaccessible or unavailable to some membership of that community by design or circumstance. The Trainings/Workshops bring together the Project Coordinating Units; the Beneficiary/Implementing Agencies and the Sector Agencies for “Competence& Skills Transfer” or “Capacity Building& Development” (CPD). Over the years, our Training & Workshop Business has focused on specific “Knowledge Areas” and “Markets”, hence our slogan – “Building Capacity in Donor Funded Projects”. Overtime, our engagements have evolved into what we now refer to as “SOLUTIONS BASED WORKSHOPS”. In that, we attempt to provide solutions, to the challenges faced by our clients, through Training & Workshop rather than Consulting. This has made our engagements “Tailored” or “Customised” to the client’s project, circumstances and needs. It tends to take more of a “Workshop” format than “Training” by the end of which, Knowledge and Competences are shared and gained. Participants tend to leave with some sort of “OUTLINE PLAN / FRAMEWORK” at least mentally, for the solution of their recognised needs.

Renaisi

We are leaders in place-based change and experts in using learning to drive change and understand the intersecting and complex nature of social challenges. We truly care about making big ideas accessible Not only do we help others to do their work better – we are equally dedicated to bringing about change ourselves. What we do Empower people experiencing economic and social exclusion Enable organisations – from community groups and charities to local authorities – to understand and improve their impact Support funders to learn about the value and role of their investments Working with businesses to be more inclusive employers Encouraging place-based organisations and practitioners to strengthen their approaches History Renaisi was founded by Hackney Council in 1998 to regenerate deprived neighbourhoods in Hackney, East London. On becoming an independent social enterprise, we went on to deliver large-scale neighbourhood regeneration programmes like the Single Regeneration Budget, New Deal for Communities and Neighbourhood Renewal Funding. In 2011 Renaisi was part of the consortium that set up the Big Local programme. Our role managing the ‘reps’ took us beyond London and allowed us to bring together the two halves of our expertise; supporting communities and social research. Alongside that national work we delivered services in Islington, Haringey and Hackney that helped migrant communities get the most out of the local school system. While the policy and funding landscape has changed a lot in the last 20+ years, ‘place’ has remained the lens we use to consider our work. We’re constantly learning from the different perspectives we see from working directly with communities, with the providers of services and the investors in communities. It gives us a unique perspective on how systems work and how to improve places fairly.

A warm welcome to our school web-site! The Compass School is unique. As an independent primary school for children age 3-12, it has acquired an outstanding reputation in East Lothian and beyond for providing its children with a firm foundation for their life-long learning. At The Compass, our aim is to provide a warm and caring environment in which our children are encouraged to develop their unique gifts and talents and progress not only academically but in their confidence and self-esteem too. We strongly believe that every child has the ability to excel in some aspect of school life and we provide our children with numerous opportunities to enjoy success and to flourish, through achieving their own personal targets. At the heart of The Compass lies the principle that a child’s time at school should be a happy one. We encourage strong personal values such as care and respect for others, polite and responsible behaviour, high standards of appearance and personal organisation and our children derive great satisfaction from meeting these expectations. Consequently, they develop positive and healthy relationships based on friendship, honesty and trust. We aim to prepare children not only for their next stage of education, but for the challenges of a fast-moving and modern world where knowledge, communication and creativity will be the keys to our children’s future success. We know that the world into which our children will grow-up to work and live in their adult lives is one which will be increasingly global. The ability to communicate effectively will be key to their future success and it is essential that we provide them with the necessary tools and knowledge to thrive in their working lives. FIX Trading Community

fix trading community

London

FIX Trading Community™ is the non-profit, industry-driven standards body at the heart of global trading. The organisation is independent and neutral, dedicated to addressing real business and regulatory issues impacting multi-asset trading in global markets through standardisation, delivering operational efficiency, increased transparency, and reduced costs and risks for all market participants. Central to FIX Trading Community’s work is the continuous development and promotion of the FIX family of standards, including the core FIX Protocol messaging language, which has revolutionised the trading environment and has successfully become the way the world trades. As an industry-driven organisation, all FIX Trading Community initiatives are pursued in response to market participant requests. This work is organised through a global network of committees, subcommittees and working groups that attract colleagues, peers and competitors who work together in a collaborative manner, free from commercial conflict, and in a way rarely witnessed in the capital markets to address core industry challenges. These efforts are supported by a small team of resources based in New York, Hong Kong and London. FIX Trading Community was previously known as FIX Protocol Ltd (and this remains its full legal entity name). Since its launch in 1998, the organisation has achieved tremendous success, developing and encouraging adoption of the FIX messaging standard. However, in recent years, whilst the continuous enhancement and promotion of FIX has remained a core goal, the organisation was also successfully leading work exploring how other non-proprietary, free and open standards could effectively support evolving needs. This led to the belief that the existing brand, no longer truly reflected the many ways in which the organisation supports the industry, nor the countless opportunities that actively participating in this vibrant community presents. The result of which was the decision to rebrand the organisation as FIX Trading Community in August 2013.
