Progressiveness and permutation are the basic elements of any society. Change always challenges the norms set by society. Education is the criterion on the basis of which the progress of any society can be assessed in its totality. The era through which human civilization is passing today is not only unseen but also unprecedented. We have a moral responsibility to preserve and transfer our values and culture on one hand and on the other hand innovation, research and use of technology have become indispensable for the upliftment and development of mankind. As educationists, it is our responsibility to prepare the framework of value-based, quality education while designing the curriculum for school education. Education along with being the carrier of our culture, is a combination of modern understanding and technology in equal proportion. Education does not drown our students away in the flood of information, but by assimilating it, they can develop their personality all-round and can prove to be a better resource while discharging their duties towards society and nation. Keeping these points in mind, India has changed its education policy after almost three decades. Like any other policy, the success of the New Education Policy 2020 will also depend on its implementation. That is why keeping in mind the objectives of the new education policy, we have started some new initiatives in our school which include – Pragyan, Lakshya, Ehsaas, APS, Under the Sky, and Lessons of Equality, etc. The purpose of all these programs is to provide the students ‘Education of life’ beyond bookish knowledge. Today we need a radical change in the field of education. The more the change is accompanied by multilateral cooperation, the more eternal and effective it will be. Being a responsible educational institution, we look forward to your cooperation in this endeavor. Come and be a part of the change… Stay Blessed.

La Petite Ecole FranƧaise

London

La Petite Ecole Française (PEF) is an independent French school that follows the French national education system. The school is part of the AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Etranger) and enables its students to progress to existing French speaking schools in London. PEF has been awarded French Education Nationale ‘Homologation’ status for all its levels from Petite Section to CM2. The ‘Homologation’ confirms that the school is following the learning methods and objectives of the French curriculum. The school caters for up to 190 children from the age of 3 to 11, after which they progress to schools such as the Lycée Français, Ecole Primaire Jacques Prévert or the Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill. There are currently two Petite Section classes, one Moyenne Section class, one Grande Section class, and a double-level MS/GS. In the primary section, there are double-level classes for CP/CE1 and CE2/CM1 and a single-level class for CM2. The classes are intentionally kept small so that each child can be given the special attention they require. La Petite Ecole Française was founded in 1983. At the end of June 2010 the school relocated to 73 Saint Charles Square. The current location is ideal for a nursery school; it is set away from the main road, the playground is large and the classrooms are light and well designed. The school operates from two ground floors and a first floor, which have been extensively refurbished, whilst maintaining a homely feel. Entry is non-selective and we invite those who are interested to make an appointment with the office to visit the school. However, as the school follows the French national education system and the majority of the lessons are in French, the children are expected to be conversant in French (only for Primary levels) prior to joining the school.

High Grange School’s multi-disciplinary approach incorporates best practices and autism-friendly strategies and supports in order to meet the educational needs of students who have ASD. Our students learn how to develop and use effective compensatory strategies to overcome difficulties in social and emotional processing, communication and flexibility in thinking and behaviour, all of which can combine to have a negative impact on their learning. The design of the school; its environment and facilities; and the structure and delivery of our educational programmes are created to reduce the stress and anxieties often associated with an autism spectrum condition. Our enabling teaching approach provides multiple physical and practical opportunities as well as visual supports for learning. This helps students to achieve their full potential by understanding and dealing with personal challenges while making the most of their abilities and strengths. Managing expectations realistically is a core part of our educational programme. Individualised Learning Plans are created for all students with input from the school’s specialist therapists. These plans include strategies to enable students to manage their anxieties; to regulate their emotional responses; and to reduce or eliminate negative and inappropriate behaviours which are preventing effective learning and positive social interactions. During the school day students have access to a varied and stimulating curriculum. The Classes are grouped by Key Stage and students are taught in small groups of up to 6. Teachers use detailed planning to ensure each individual is enabled to achieve in all areas. Classrooms are well-equipped and include specialist facilities for Music, Art & Design, D&T, Science, Computer Science and ICT, Food Technology and Performing Arts. High Grange has excellent PE facilities, including a swimming pool, large gymnasium, hard court areas and extensive grassed areas.

Our staff give their time and expertise to create a memorable education for our children, and the children give so much energy and enthusiasm to their work. We would also like to invite members of the wider TSP community to give time, talent or treasure, however they can, in support of our school to make a direct difference to our children’s lives. Recent projects that have been supported / funded include: · Contributing to the refurbishment of the Hall through purchasing a new projector and speakers · Improving year 3 and 4 classrooms · Sourcing new ICT equipment · Extra workshops to further enhance the school’s curriculum The school’s current focus is on: · enhancing the Year 1 playground area. This small, contained area is very tired and in need of some improvements to create a stimulating, engaging space for play. Your contributions will make a difference every day for the children who pass through year 1 each year. · improving the Key Stage 1 playground which is a thoroughfare for the school and is also used as the play area for Clubhouse, our wrap around care service. · Following the refurbishment of the school hall which has improved central space for the children to use throughout the day, to now also upgrade the sound and lighting equipment which would further enhance our school performances and workshops. We aim to raise a minimum of £5,000 each academic year to support projects such as these – the more we can raise, the sooner our children can benefit. We know that giving money isn’t always possible, so here’s what you can do, whatever your circumstances:
