Microneedling is a popular treatment in staying youthful. It’s a procedure that uses fine needles to puncture the skin and create a controlled skin injury in order to rejuvenate skin. It’s also called skin needling, collagen induction therapy (CIT), and percutaneous collagen induction (PCI). During the procedure, a topical numbing cream is applied and then a mechanical derma pen ( we do not use derma rollers) is used to insert tiny needles into the skin to cause microinjuries or punctures. The idea is that the damage caused by the needles encourages your body to send healing agents (elastin and collagen) to the cuts to repair them. By making tiny columns of trauma in the dermis, the body is forced to make new collagen to fill them in and heal them. This new collagen makes skin look and feel slicker, tighter, and more youthful. Nano-needling stimulates collagen production in the skin by safely infusing active ingredients from your serum through tiny nano-channels. Microneedling is used to treat and improve conditions like acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, loose skin, skin texture, pore size, brown spots, stretch marks, and pigment issues. Risks involved with receiving microneedling are lower than many other skin treatments, such as chemical peels or light/laser therapies. Paediatric First Aid Paediatric First Aid at Work Two Day Course Cost:  £125 + vat per person This course has been developed for those who are working with children and infants. It will be of particular interest to teachers, child minders, crèche assistants, playgroup personnel and anyone else who has a responsibility for their welfare whilst in your care. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a range of paediatric first-aid situations. This two-day qualification fulfils the requirements for first aid training detailed in the Department for Education’s statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage.  SYLLABUS A range of subjects is covered, including: Role of the Paediatric First Aider Primary survey Resuscitation (CPR including the safe use of an AED) Wounds, bleeding and shock Allergic reactions including anaphylaxis Head, neck and back injuries Seizure Choking Minor injuries Recovery position Fractures Foreign bodies Diabetic emergencies Asthma Meningitis Febrile convulsions Extreme cold and heat Electrical incidents Maximum of 12 People Students must be a minimum of 16 years of age to qualify. The RYA Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment is a mandatory requirement ahead of all Powerboat Instructor courses. Course Duration 1/2 day for each group of 3 attendees. If we have 6 attending then one group will go afloat in the morning and another in the afternoon with an overlap at lunchtime to address the theory element of the assessment. Instructor – student ratio 3 students to 1 Powerboat Trainer per boat. Minimum Age Those over the age of 16 can attend the assessment. Course price For those attending the RYA Powerboat Instructor course with us the cost of the assessment is £150. Course dates You can attend a pre-assessment at any time up to 6 months before your course. Assessments are always scheduled the day before a instructors course for those that can’t get to the centre ahead of the course. We are usually happy to schedule dates for assessments to suit your diary. The 2-day Masterclass is taught by two amazing tutors: Kath Harman - Kath studied Professional Dance and Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy in London, and her career highlights include performing with Dua Lipa at the Brit Awards, and travelling the world with Carnival Cruise Line. Emma Hatton - Emma graduated from LSMT and her big break came in 2009 when she made her West End debut - originating the role of Donna in Dreamboats and Petticoats. Following this triumph, she was cast in We Will Rock You as an understudy for the roles of Scarmouche and Meat. Emma has also played Elphaba in Wicked and has a variety of other on-stage credits. Whatever your experience level, this brilliant course will help you break out of your comfort zone in a supportive environment and walk away with an audition toolkit that you can use to start applying to further education or working in the industry. If you have questions about how industry auditions work, Kath and Emma can demystify the process! While the focus of this course is musical theatre, you can choose to work on songs outside of this genre if you like. Please note: Prior to starting the course, we ask all students to submit two songs they would like to work on to In2Drama's Musical Associate Simon Fraser, who will accompany you on piano during the course.
