The Care Certificate Refresher is fully CPD accredited. The Care Certificate Refresher training is a full day, instructor led course in a fully equipped training room. We use a mixture of training methods such as hands on activities, group discussion, games and the use of equipment / technology to cover the different learning styles of the individual. Learners will update their knowledge, skills and understanding around the 15 care standards. The Care Certificate Refresher provides care staff with the fundamental skills to provide a quality, safe and effective service. The Care Certificate Refresher does not cover manual handling of people and objects. This is a stand-alone course, which can be booked separately. Care providers are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as a result must meet the Health and Social Care Act 2014 (Regulation 18 Staffing). Evidence of training and understanding is provided to support providers in their evidence of compliance. Instructions Attendees to arrive on time at 9.30am and will leave around 16.30pm It is important that learners are fit and well to participate in group activities. First Aid - Level 3 First Aid at Work Re-Qualification Three Day Course Cost:  £150 + vat per person Group Booking: 8 people or more £1100 (inclusive of vat). Where a workplace First Aid Risk Assessment identifies a need for a First Aider in the Workplace. This accredited Three-Day Qualification will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982. The Certificate is valid for 3 years and will expire from the date on the certificate. SSSTS The CITB SSSTS course is an accredited Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme for the construction site supervisor, these are generally referred to as SSSTS training courses. The supervisors safety training scheme is now a requirement set out by the major contractors group for all supervisors who will be working on their sites. Construction skills and health and safety need to go hand in hand and made a priority to encourage improved work skills and reduced accidents and injuries. The course takes place over two days and will teach health and safety skills needed to maintain a safe site. A thirty minute multiple choice examination will follow the training. Upon successful completion of the SSSTS training the candidate will be awarded with the CITB Site Supervisory Safety Training Certificate. Further Development Successful candidates can go on to complete the 5 day site managers safety training scheme SMSTS course designed for site managers and supervisors.
