My name is Denise Thompson/Coutu. I’ve been teaching art classes and giving parties for over 10 years. I love working with kids. I’m a mom, and have also had my own daycare. I also come from a family of teachers. I get great satisfaction from seeing my students grow, both in their skill level and their understanding of the arts. I grew up in Hudson, NH and studied mainly in Boston. My educational experience includes a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Tufts University; a Fine Arts Diploma from the Museum School in Boston (5 yrs), and Certificates in Graphic Design and Web Design from schools in Manchester, NH. I have been a graphic design professional for over 18 years. I worked in the art department in MA working with digital files and preparing them for press. I have also worked in the theatre industry in Boston, which was fun and exciting. My other professional skills include scenic painting, oil painting and drawing, sign making, jewelry making, clay work, mosaic making, sewing and cake decorating. I would love to teach anyone who is interested in learning the skills to make beautiful works of art. About Becki and where Waggy Races started… My name is Becki and I am an Animal Biology BSc Hons and Animal Care HNC graduate. I qualified through COAPE as an Animal Behaviour Practitioner Dip CABT in 2020. I have been working with animals since a young child but professionally started in 2013 when I embarked on my Animal Care HNC. I was employed in a dog daycare whilst doing my degree, then moved on to working in a veterinary practice as a nurse. After a few years there I decided to make the move and become self employed as a dog walker and trainer. In 2019, a few months after completing my Animal Biology degree, where I wrote my dissertation on Flamingos (!!), I enrolled for my Animal Behaviour diploma with COAPE International. This consisted on 50+ hours in a training school, 50+ in a rescue/shelter environment, 100+ hours of lectures and of assessment writing. Additionally, I am qualified in animal nutrition, canine first aid and body language. I am also a Scentwork UK instructor. My main focus has always been on large breeds and reactive dogs, having experienced many and having lived with my own! We recently lost Enzo, our 2 year old Dobermann pictured, shortly after qualifying for Crufts, to an aggressive form of cancer so I currently share my home with my partner Stewart and my 6 year old cat Casper. My training specialities are advanced obedience, dog reactivity and separation anxiety. My aim is to help owners understand their dog and how to pave a better future for them. I do not judge and will always give the best advice and help I can.

We are located just a couple of miles east of Elgin in beautiful rural surroundings. Sarah's Pet Services is owned and run by myself, Sarah Young with the indispensible help of my wonderful team, Lisa, Ilona, Lianne, Sam & Elaine. Since opening in 2017 we have proved to be a very popular pet services business. Covering Fochabers to Elgin to Lossiemouth we offer dog walking in groups or solo walks, pet pop in visits for puppies/older dogs, cat/small animal visits to care for your pets while you are away and horse care visits. Fully insured, we offer a free meet and greet visit prior to carrying out any care for your furbabies. In 2019 I decided to pursue my dream of having dog kennels, where I could offer exisiting and new customers a safe and comfortable place for their dogs to stay while they are away. I wanted to create a peaceful surrounding with emphasis on regular attention and proper exercise for my doggie guests. We have a block of 5 spacious kennels each with their own runs. Each dog is let out of their kennel 4 times a day and we are lucky to have a lovely onsite walk where we take the dogs twice a day for their walks. In addition, we now have an onsite 2 acre secure field for dogs who aren't allowed off lead to run and play in. I recognise every dogs needs are different, therefore I offer two packages depending on amount of exercise you wish your dog to get. Echoes of the Four Directions is a coming together of Native American Indian individuals from various tribes, for the purpose of Providing American Indians and non -native American Indians information and education in regards to Native American Indians and our culture. One of the ways we do this is with EDUCATIONAL and CULTURAL PRESENTATIONS. Echoes of The Four Directions will guide and assist you in conducting research for tracing tribal ancestry or tribal affiliation. (no fees involved). CULTURAL DIVERSITY – Echoes of the Four Directions is available as a consultant and or facilitator for both general diversity training and or customized Native American diversity training. The following is a list of what we offer. 1. Speaker – you may pick a topic or we can suggest one for you. FEE $50.00 2. Speaker and native display such as beadwork, artifacts, silverwork, rattles, etc. – display items are explained and discussed. (This is our most requested program). FEE $75.00 3. Native flute playing, talk and demonstration. FEE $50.00 4. Native Silver smith demonstration. FEE $50.00 5. Native bead work demonstration. FEE $50.00 6. Native Story telling. FEE $50.00 7. Native intertribal social dancing demonstration. FEE $50.00 8. Native woman’s traditional shaw dancing demonstration. FEE $50.00 9.
