Our DS Director, Cara Louise Horsley, took part in the first Para Dance UK IDT
Inclusive Dance Remote Training Course earlier this year and we are super
excited to put this training into practice, furthering the reach of inclusive
dance across London, alongside such a brilliant organisation. At Dance Stables,
we pride ourselves in offering classes that everyone can enjoy and this is shown
in our DS Mission Statement: Dance Stables provides an open, secure platform for
children and adults to explore their creativity, build confidence and share
their love for dance and the arts. We promote positive well being, celebrate
cultural diversity and identity, and aim to educate and inspire the future of
dance in the UK and beyond. “Everything in the universe has a rhythm, everything
dances” -Maya Angelou As detailed on their website, Para Dance UK is a charity
and aims to develop and promote dance as a sport and an inclusive leisure
activity across the country. We love and champion their ethos that
#EveryoneCanDance. We couldn’t think of a more perfect fit to our DS way of
working and views on dance!
