13 years ago I was at a gay club in Milton Keynes. I saw a few people doing some
basic tricks on the pole – and I immediately fell in love. I had a go on the
pole and ended up going all night! It’s safe to say I was very sore the
following day – lots of fun and a great workout?! Sign me up. Next, I started
going to classes in Stevenage in the UK and found I was pretty good, so I
started competing (and winning)!
