The course that emerged embedded production with performance, establishing LCCM as the first music college where all students had to master both performance and production; a development that was increasingly evident in the music industry.

My trajectory Vision. Determination. Passion My name is Iuli Caroline, I grew up in the countryside of São Paulo (Sumaré). Sambar is what fills my soul with light and makes me enjoy life. I've always believed in creating a community of people who, like me, love the power of the movement - and that's my main goal as a samba instructor. I started my career at the age of 12, being a junior dancer at the samba school(Havaí 71) in my city in the interior of São Paulo. Over the years I spent in numerous traditional samba schools (Estrela D’alva, Leões Padre Anchieta) in my locality, until I was of legal age and competed for Queen of the City (Paulínia 2014), where I was crowned in First place. Representing my city made me see that my place was to fight for samba and dance in general. After this I was also crowned Miss Beauty Black, representing the cultural Black community of my locality. Countless hours of stage and presentations came together over the years, until I made my first tour towards Egypt(2018). Working in another country with other people, showing my roots to different cultures and also getting to know them is fantastic. Today I continue my journey in the city of London - United Kingdom. Now here in London, I work with Freelancer Mulata Samba Show and I am part of respected entertainment companies and major artistic productions. In this year 2021 I was crowned Princess Miss Generation London. In addition, Coming here to London working with samba and helping to keep our Brazilian culture alive. I won the Second place in the London Awards 2022 Dance category, another recognition after years working with Brazilian culture. We also work with great production of renowned samba artists artists that bring us the best of our culture. In the year 2022 we collaborated together with the coming and organization of the workshops of Mayara Lima and Mayara Santos, great samba phenomena teachers that were with us in a big euro tour. I continue with my projects and workshops, working on instruction for one of the greatest models of empowerment, Samba! This brings joy, grace and sympathy .. linking communities together. It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our website, which we hope captures the ethos of our wonderful Academy. Harris Academy Morden is a wonderful place to learn and teach. We have a very hard working team of teachers and support staff; they provide a caring and welcoming atmosphere for our students. The Academy site is a huge site with close to 6 acres of school buildings, sports halls, gymnasium, all weather pitches, tennis courts and large playing fields / athletic track thus providing excellent facilities. The Academy has a limit of 900 places across Year 7-11. We are unlike other schools; we do not want to expand at this moment in time, in fact we wish to remain small for as long as possible! This will ensure a small school where your child is known to staff and a caring environment can be provided. The Academy is traditional in our approach to discipline and uniform, yet forward-thinking and at the cutting edge of curriculum development. The Academy aims to develop the whole child. We have a real focus on progress and attainment, yet ensure students develop their cultural awareness. The school has a very proud history and can trace its roots back to 1904 and the establishment of the Pupil Teacher Centre in Abbey Road. Even in those days overcrowding was a problem and Torquay Secondary School, as it had become, was opened in Barton Road in April 1915 with 170 boys. We remained at Barton Road until 1983 when we moved to our purpose built site here at Shiphay. At that time we had 750 boys in four Houses; now we have 1120 boys and girls in six houses (girls studying the International Baccalaureate are part of our sixth form) so extensive building programmes have taken place in the last 30 years or so to keep our facilities up-to-date and to provide a suitable environment for learning of the highest quality to take place. The school now stands as one of the top 20 boys’ schools in the country and is forever moving forward in the drive to providing an education, both academic and cultural, to rival that found anywhere in the country. We became a Grant Maintained School in 1993, were given Specialist Status in 1996, Foundation Status in 1997, Leading Edge in 2000, Beacon Status, High Performing Specialist Status in 2006, became part of the South West Academic Trust in 2008, granted Academy Status in 2010 and we became a Multi-Academy Trust in 2012 when we sponsored Torquay Academy in their bid for Academy status. Along the way we have undergone three OFSTED inspections and been found to be outstanding each time.
