Jolly Stars Cricket Club Canada (JSCCC) founded in a similar fashion as Jolly
Stars Sports Club Jaffna, which is founded in the early 1970s. The JSCCC was
founded with a purpose to support cricket sports initiatives and events, while
giving opportunities to talented OLD boys of Jaffna Hindu College to participate
in professional level competitions in the country. The Cricket sport is becoming
very popular around the world and in Canada. JSCCC is a not-for-profit
organization, which shares the same focus to create access for talented athletes
to come together to play the game of Cricket. While also developing individual
and team skills to perform at the intermediate level, with the hopes of
transitioning players to the Cricket Canada Team. The JSCCC strength is the
growth of players and membership through the highest standard of coaching and
opportunity to play matches.
