Apparently "ballerina" was code for business owner because now she teaches art in her own studio. Her path included earning an art degree from High Point College (now university), many years spent as an art director for print media, and many more teaching preschool locally. She founded Outside the Lines Art Studio in 2011 to share her belief in the transformative power of visual art with her community. HomeAbout What happens when you pit a lifelong procrastinator against the biggest test of his life? Trouble. I’m Miles, a recent graduate from the MOT program at the University of Utah. Being a podcast junkie myself, when I was studying for the NBCOT exam I wished there had been a podcast to help me make some progress when I was driving, at the gym, or just not feeling like banging my head against a computer screen. My goal with the podcast is to make the journey I had to take a little easier for other aspiring occupational therapists. Person I’m a huge nerd with a passion for basketball, sushi and OT. I’m always on the hunt for a good Netflix recommendations. My path to OT was a little strange. I worked in tech support during my undergrad and graduated in advertising, but not before taking the pre-reqs for OT school. I love the combination of creativity and purpose in our profession and consider myself lucky to have stumbled across it before I joined the ranks of [insert PT joke here]. Environment I was born and raised in Minnesota, lived in Japan for two years and am currently looking forward to having an actual income for Utah’s next ski season. Occupation I’m currently working at an inpatient acute rehab hospital and loving it. __________________ . __________________ That’s the gist of it. If you looking to try out some pottery classes here in Dorset, why not begin your journey now and start creating pieces yourself. Here at Cedar Pottery, I will guide you through the various techniques in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hand building, throwing on the wheel, sculpturing can all be tried. Glazing can be fun too and I will help you to understand this interesting part of the art of pottery. You are more than welcome to visit the studio to find out more about the environment you will be working in, the classes available and have a chat about what you want to achieve. There are six places per pottery course meaning we can tailor the classes to suit you, your level of skill and your creativity! It doesn’t matter how much potting experience you have – total beginner or happy hobby potter. I can offer one-to-one time to tutor each individual, and so the making schedule can be flexible. I am a thrower, but can also tutor in hand building and sculpture work and will take you through the various techniques needed to throw good pots. Currently I have two electric wheels. We run 2 hour taster courses, 1/2 day and one-day courses and for those who want to really develop their skill, then we have a 8 week intensive course.

If you are selected for School chess team Hurray !! You do not need Individual lessons to gain new skills rather parental support in learning from websites / apps. Group Learning is better and more useful. You improve and hone your chess skills when you play more casual games . This is based on feedback from many coaches. The next skill set is to play for your county chess team. County teams are for under 9 and under 11 teams. Under 9 team has 16 squad members while under 11 has 24 . you have the semifinals 3 games held on a saturday 12 noon to 4 pm. If your county qualifies for the finals another 3 games. another Saturday of chess !! So you have made it to top boards in County matches. Interested to go National ? Going further you have to play chess on many weekends. Begin with half day rapid then move on to longer time control. playing in long play events and gaining grading points. reaching 100 plus is an indication of skill among juniors.
