Mary-Anne is a highly experienced professional Cordon Bleu cook, trained at
Tante Marie college, Woking. After her training, she went on to cook in
restaurants in Bath, including Woods and the Theatre Royal, where she cooked for
and made a number of birthday cakes for visiting actors! Dinner / Lunch / Tea
Parties: at your home. Menus are seasonal and decided with the client. Buffets:
for dinner or lunch parties, with fresh and seasonal salads. Afternoon Tea
parties: a delicious selection of home made patisserie, scones and sandwiches.
Hen/Stag Parties: Have fun cooking a dinner party with Mary-Anne at your home,
then sit down to eat it! Picinic Hampers: Made to order for sporting events,
summer outings, birthdays or Christmas. COOKERY COURSES Mary-Anne is a qualified
cookery teacher and offers bespoke courses in your own kitchen suitable for
beginners or for anyone wanting to improve their cooking skills and repertoire.
She has taught day courses for nannies and au pairs which include recipes for
special diets e.g. gluten/vegan/dairy free recipes, and she can inform about the
nutritional needs of children and how to deal with fussy eaters. The courses are
also very useful for gap year students or for those wanting to cook in chalets
for skiing holidays, and include information about food hygiene and nutrition.
The courses can be very specific if desired, e.g. just about pastry making,
vegetarian cookery, patisserie, sauces or bread making.
