Kate is an experienced Confidence Leadership Coach and NLP Practitioner, she trains managers to have Curious Conversations and helps organisations to develop a culture that supports the Being and Doing of Leadership.   My coaching career started in 2002 when I trained to be a professional Co-Active Coach.  Coaching and the skills of effective communication is something I am passionate about and believe that everyone should learn the secrets of how to coach whether in the home or the workplace.  Having worked with businesses for may years supporting them on how to develop and grow their leadership talent, it struck me that there is still an assumption that 'leaders have to be made' rather than 'leader are everywhere'; so in 2018, I launched the Being and Doing of Leadership which considers the 5 leadership positions of Inner, Sensing, Leader in Front, Beside and Behind. In 2019 along wth a fellow Co-Active Coach we created Curious Conversations for managers to not become coaches at work, but instead to learn the skills of coaching to have Curious, Challenging, Courageous and Championing conversations at work. For me coaching is the key to Awareness, Choices and Action - something I believe everyone can discover and become the best version of themselves. Kate is an experienced Leadership and Mental Fitness Coach, and NLP Practitioner specialising in inspirational head-and-heart coaching and creating powerful, experientially based coaching training programmes.

Laura Fyfe is an award-winning writer with short stories, non-fiction and poetry published in literary magazines internationally, including Northwords Now and Butcher’s Dog. Laura has nearly twenty years experience in motivating writers, as well as a M.Ed in Educational Enquiry and an M.Litt in Creative Writing under her belt. She travels Scotland to facilitate writing workshops and adjudicate writing competitions and is a prominent voice in Scotland’s writing community, serving on the board of the Scottish Writers’ Centre and the Scottish Poetry Library. Laura publishes books under her imprint, Figment Books and has published a book as an app as well, ChildsPlay app. She predominantly writes poetry and novels and loves experimenting with new ideas and techniques. Laura is an expert in boosting writers’ confidence, as reflected in her books and audiobooks Wellspring and Magpie Mind which focus on defeating procrastination and increasing creativity.

All Together Edinburgh is a social enterprise with charitable status. It was set up in 2010 after recognising that there were very few training opportunities for people with learning disabilities to learn skills that would help them work within the retail/charity retailing sector or customer facing environment. We wanted to create more training and employment opportunities by delivering a training programme that would not only improve employability skills, confidence and self-esteem, but deliver an accredited, person-centred course that resulted in a recognised qualification. We decided that the training would be best delivered in a charity shop and we opened our first shop in June, 2011. The charity shop is an ideal practical setting to learn an array of skills relevant to the retail field. It also gives the trainee an opportunity to interact with the public and to increase awareness of people with learning disabilities. This is a unique enterprise and is the first of it’s kind in Scotland!

Initially we created training programmes that women could deliver to other women. These programmes were designed to develop self-esteem, confidence, peer relationships and support in classrooms. In talking to young women we found that the classroom was where a lot of the issues came from so we wanted to focus on building a relationship with schools and supporting the issues and inequalities that young women were facing in the classroom. We bring women together to support each other and believe that "if you can't see it, you can't be it". Having female role models is of huge significance to show other women what can be achievable. The services we offer include Circle Time, Mind Body and Soul and SHE Voices. We also recently hosted a popular event, "Embrace It Aw" to showcase the work we have been doing and we had guest speakers from inspirational female speakers which was really well received. Children who attend Stage Skool take part in Singing, Dancing, Drama or Acro classes on a weekly basis at our Bathgate Motherwell or Edinburgh Studio's. Stage Skool is suitable for those age 4.5 - 16 years and aims to improve confidence whilst learning new skills, and provides performance opportunities should children wish to take part. This includes informal showings of class work, end of term performances in professional theatres, cabaret nights, musicals, professional pantomimes and various corporate events across Scotland. Edinburgh School of Music is an independent music school based in Edinburgh city centre. We are a team of highly experienced, enthusiastic and professional teachers who provide music lessons in a wide range of instruments. Our goal at ESM is to bring the love of music into all our student's lives in a fun and enjoyable way as well as providing all the necessary skills to pass exams, perform with confidence and compose music and songs. We are very proud to maintain a 100% pass rate in all our student's instrumental and vocal music exams making us Edinburgh's favourite music school for private music lessons. One - to - one tuition Lessons are available for a range of instruments including voice, piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder and drums. We offer one to one private lessons in our studio in Meadowbank or online lessons. Groups We offer a range of music group activities including our Baby music groups (for ages 0-5), youth singing groups, performance coaching workshops and summer school music groups. Please contact us to find out the groups that are currently available. Concerts At ESM we believe that learning to make incredible music is just not as rewarding if you don’t share it with others. We provide monthly showcases at Edinburgh's Jazz Bar in addition to end of term concerts. This gives our students plenty of opportunities to showcase their progress and develops our pupils into confident performers. Central Football Academy are based in Grangemouth, Central Scotland. Founded in 2014 as a girls only football club, we opened our boys section in 2015. We have over 175 registered players at the club within both Girls and Boys junior sections as well as our Senior Womens Team. Most teams train twice a week with a fixture usually once a week. Central Football Academy are a SFA Quality Mark Gold Level club. Since inception we have enjoyed great success, winning many titles and have had a multitude of players represent Scotland at various levels, on countless occasions. Inchyra Park in Grangemouth is our home ground. This is where the majority of our team matches and training takes place. Our Senior linked Womens Team play their home matches at Broadwood Stadium (Home of Clyde F.C.) in Cumbernauld. They play in the Scottish Womens Football Championship (3rd tier of womens football). We play our home matches in Cyan and our Senior team play their away matches in white. Our Match-day programme is called ‘View from the Centre’. Since our formation we have been given many affectionate nicknames, but we are most commonly known as “Central” or “The Cyan”. At Central, we have a clear ethos based on equality for all and encourage youth to develop within their own style and most importantly – enjoy playing football, playing with their creativity and as part of a team. We always endeavour to instill belief and confidence in our youth and from the start our motto has been “Imagine…Believe… Achieve…”. Commitment is an essential discipline at Central Football Academy. We at coaching level will give the player, team & academy our full commitment and we expect the same from our players and parents. We are not part of your journey, Central is the journey.
