We have two sites, one is Dalston and one in Tower Hamlets. A week of fun, play, creativity, games and lots of arts & crafts to boost your child's confidence, expand their creativity, cultivate their sense of calm and most importantly, have lots of fun. Every week is centered around a different theme so your child will always be doing something fun, new and exciting each holiday. The children will learn a wide range of different art & craft techniques and make unique and ambitious artwork that they are always proud to take home. Combining our circus skills workshops, circus show, treasure hunts and party of the last day, it is the fun-filled week bursting with creativity that your child will want to come back to. Art & Circus holiday camp located at: Columbia Primary School, 49-53 Columbia Rd, London E2 7RH Holy Trinity Primary School, Beechwood Road, London E8 3DY What to expect, our daily schedule: 8.30 - Early drop off option 9.00 - Children arrive, make a name badge and be put into their bubbles 9.15 - Morning stretching activity - consisting of body movement, mindfulness & breathing exercises and fun dancing games to help prepare everyone for the day 9.30 - First activity - A unique art activity around the current theme 10.30 - First break - Children have a snack and play outdoors 11.00 - Continue with the first art activity 12.00 - Lunch Break - Children eat their lunches* and play games 1.00 - Second art activity - Making the second piece of artwork or learning a circus skill 2.00 - Second break - Children are offered some organic fruit and juice and children can play outdoors 2.30 - Continue with second activity or practice new circus skill 3.15 - End of the day routine - Musical statues to end every day. On the last day of the week, we have a party which includes: obstacle course games, a treasure hunt and prizes for all children! 3.30 - End of day - parents/guardians come and collect their children from the venue 3.45 - Third break - children are able to play games outside on the terrace, draw, play board games and watch 15 minutes of a children’s film for the end of the day. 5.00 - Late pick-up option - parents/guardians come and collect their children from the venue New exciting themes each week so your child will always be making something unique and fun. Fixation Performing Arts Academy is run by Academy Directors Laura Davitt & Carly Pryke. Fixation was founded in 2012 by Laura Davitt, who created an artistic company of trained performing arts professionals and youth workers to create opportunities for young people and adults to participate in the performing arts and develop new skills in a safe and collaborative environment. In 2014 now Academy Director Carly joined the team that Laura had created and together with over 30 years of combined teaching and performing experience, they formed what we now know as Fixation Academy of Performing Arts. Fixation Academy is a welcoming place for all to flourish, learn and grow. Our team of professionals use their extensive knowledge of the performance industry to provide quality training in disciplines acting, singing, dance, drama and musical theatre for ages 4-18 and adults. Our aim for each person that comes through our doors is to have fun, build confidence, make new friends, learn new skills and express themselves through the arts. Whether you see the performing arts as a fun hobby or potential career path, Fixation Academy is a place for students to discover and shine. We aim to give each child the skills and training necessary to turn their own dreams into a reality. At our Academy students benefit from weekly term time classes that work towards annual full-scale productions, in house shows and other public performances such as community festivals and competitions throughout the year. Fixation Academy of Performing Arts also gives students the opportunity to progress through their exam grades with LAMDA and the Royal Academy of Dance.

Our workshops have served as intense social learning sessions and therapeutic retreats to adults, and our children’s workshops have helped children express themselves and make large strides in their artistic endeavours. As reflected in our principles, all our sessions are inclusive of people with special education needs (SEN) and learning difficulties. We have helped children with SEN develop their confidence and become more involved in art. Our approach to teaching and learning is focused on using art to build a creative local community founded on principles of inclusivity. We provide a platform to showcase the work of our creatives via our Group Exhibitions - we also host and take part in national events such as The Big Draw and Lumiere London - the UK’s biggest light festival - and in local events like the Fabula Festival. We run pop-ups, co-operate with businesses alongside our workshops, and collaborate with non-profit organisations in addition to organising after school clubs with local schools.
